I can't believe this worked.

When you turn the cylinder you got to make sure its align with the pin thats behind the brake pads so it does not move when applying on brakes dont look like you did that . The pads wont wear even on rotor and that will screw up your brake job . On the front brakes you dont need to align it. Its because you need to turn cylinder in the back that wy the 2 holes need to be align with the little pin behind beake pads

You took them apart farther than I did. The front ones just needed a c-clamp , but the back ones needed to be turned clockwise. I tried to use a c-clamp and quickly found I was wrong. It was time to check the internet. Thank you for showing me what to do!

Just repaired mine. A 1/8" nut driver makes it a whole lot easier. Those screws don't come out too easily with needle nose pliers.

My local Mavis told me that the cost to replace rear pads/rotors on my 2021 Hyundai Kona is higher than the front because my car has "electronic calipers" on the rear. This sounds like a total scam to me...are they trying to grab me?

ill try it out . my buddy just sold his house and moved to hawaii leaving me his 2004 mini but i noticed the drivers side window is stuck ( amongst a lot of electrical issues from water leaking in).
