the lady burning with her books reminds me so much of how people will die for their religion, or for something they believe in. this book has made me realize that we don’t think we live in a dystopian world because we think we are free. in the hunger games, it’s described as a dystopian world to us because looking at it does look like one, but they don’t think it’s a dystopian world. to them it’s just how things go because of their government and how much they have inscribed in their brains that their life is normal. we live in a dystopian world and technology is literally ruining us i haven’t finished this video yet, but i just wanted to point out that i admire and respect the author for including that particular scene in the book, and i don’t know yet if it’s a part of a butterfly effect that changes the outcome of the book, but it just feels all the more real

i’m an avid audiobook listener and have been waiting for this book to become available at my library on libby for *months*. i’m so glad i checked youtube! i’m always a little wary of home productions because there isn’t a guarantee of good audio quality or pacing, but your pacing and audio quality is outstanding and easy to follow! you’ve got a really great voice for reading out loud, and i enjoy the commentary you give as well. sometimes i really struggle to stay hooked on the more “classic” novels because the narrator drones on or doesn’t engage me enough, or just downright has a bad voice. i’m not having any trouble staying focused and interested at all, thank you so much for posting these videos!

this has helped me more than i thought it would. i was gone sick for 4 days and came back. and even though i wasn’t there to finish the book in class with everyone and i didn’t have my book- i still have to take the test over it. not fair. not enough time to finish the book. this helped tremendously. thank you
