For me personally, what’s holding me back from redoing my kitchen isn’t just the cost of the cabinets. It’s finding a reputable contractor who is going to charge thousands for the demo and installation of the new cabinets plus the cost of the new countertop and backsplash plus finding someone to cut and polish the new countertop. My kitchen is fairly small so while cabinets may be $3K/$4K by the time it’s all said and done it would cost $20K/$25K which I just can’t afford.

Grey toned wood. Ie a slight grey stain on light wood, not painted. Granite worktops. Or light natural wood. Either/or.

A few suggestions: could be dark maroon, dark brown or even dark grey....anything dark that can "remove eyes from seeing" dirt, stains or anything similar which can be more convenience for any buyers who used to have pets and cook inside the house though there's an air ventilation installed with the oven...period

I live in an apartment in the city and I thought that the 3 or 6 inch would fit good in a small 8 x 9ft kitchen apartment. What are your thoughts?

I’m less concerned about the exterior of the home than I am about the kitchen layout and natural lighting. What’s the flooring that the client intends to use and are they partial to a particular countertop?

That's a garage, not a house

The same color as the tan wood posts outside. Black or grey would look too separate against presumibly white or taupe walls, and it would shrink the space/look odd to make the walls dark. If you are going with white countertops, white cabinets would look fresh and clean.

I'm partial to hickory with a grey-er color, but something more like mahogany stained birch or curly maple wood be nice. An ebony stain would make the grain pop on oak, would match the exterior well.

86 the handles and the countertop , handles snag your clothes, countertop are BORING its in every other house in America.

Such a great idea. I’ve seen comments before from people regarding uppers going all the way to the ceiling and complaining that they can’t reach them. That’s where you put your seasonal dishes and bowls like for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Then you just grab a step stool and grab all the pieces you need. You can either grab a step stool and vacuum all the dust on top of the uppers or you grab a step stool to retrieve delicate and/or seasonal dishes. Choice is yours.

Another tip is to just minimize your total amount of cookware. The stuff in this video could be easily organized without that rack-the problem is most people cram 3x that amount of stuff in the same volume. The rack is a solution in search of a problem.
