Thank you Ann-Marie. I was brought up Christian but have been practicing Nichiren Buddhism also, and you are mirroring so many of my thoughts. You are right that for us to overcome our fears (and many other challenging emotions we may have), we need to look inwards at our own tendencies (destructive especially) and bring them into the light so that we can identify them and hopefully transform them into positive actions instead. We do this by chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo and reciting parts of the Lotus Sutra as a way of evoking this universal law that affects every being. I believe that by using our life challenges as opportunities to transform ourselves and consequently, help others, we can make a positive difference, little by little to make a change for the better. I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video. Thanks again. Dave.

How wonderfully brave you are to face the darkness..the distinction is to face it with the light of the holy spirit not ego..which is the darkness that knows it not..I am very afraid to face the darkness...it freaks me out. Bless you for you courage and Msg. I hope I can join you in Strength and Truth of the True Self. Are you in FL..too...I need a friend down here..I'm older now and very much alone. I go thru the touchers of the damn every morning..and keep doing my spiritual work..inspirit as best I can..but egoic fear comes to bite.

I want to feel that unconditional love. Now and then I do ask God to let me feel His love. I actually asked Him that during my nature walk this morning. I even went as far as asking that He does so in a way that would not be too overwhelming. With this request, I am thinking that He is waiting for all my fears to disappear first? A few months ago, I could not say:”I trust you God. I love you God,” without feeling like I was lying because I don’t remember loving my Creator. And I must have blocked His love if I don’t feel it. Now, I say it, I feel it and mean it. Progress.😊 How do I truly, fully open up my heart to pure Love? Beautiful, loving, respectful, meaningful conversation from two lovely ladies.💕 Ann-Marie and Anna, I am looking forward to reading your books. Thank you! I, too, am easily content. May your experience sooth and reach many viewers all over the world. Thank you.💕 I too, at a young age, felt that I could not speak my truth. Unfortunately, it stayed that way until my early forties. From then on, very slowly, I started to share my true feelings with a few friends. It is so freeing once you know that you are good enough. It is so freeing once the opinions of others have little affect on you. I wish I could convince my adult son to reach out and live his life. He is very withdrawn and does not want any support from anyone. Just yesterday, I told him again in a gentle, non judgmental tone:”I understand that you feel safer staying home. But I wish that you would consider spending time in nature. It is very healing. Your life is just as worthy as anyone else you know.”

Ann-Marie, you read your courageous personal experience in a way that was very pleasing to me. Slowly with lovely pauses and a calm voice. Your testimony is heartwarming; raw and uplifting. Many of us will have light bulb moments regarding our own body pains and may feel empowered to dive deeper and ask God to show us the truth. I know I need some truth to be shown. Talking about being playful, early this morning, I was walking on a covered path with wood chips. Surrounded with lots of a variety of tall trees. A gentle rain was falling. I decided to lay down on the wood chips and look at the view above. Peaceful and beautiful. Very tall trees. Tiny rain drops on all the leaves. Tree branches with different shades of green. This lady was holding a sign that said: Do the work. I have good intentions but I fall off the wagon often...but, I eventually get back on.👍

Divine intervention already at work.😊 I had ordered “The power of surrender cards” by Judith Orloff and I just received them. Guess which card was at the top when I opened the box? “Surrender Your Fear of Intimacy. You are ready to let love in. Compassionately identify -and begin to release - any patterns that stop you from opening your heart.”

Thank you Ann Marie for giving me an opportunity to share as well. I am grateful not to be attached to material things. They are enjoyable but not vital to my overall sense of contentment. I have never felt comfortable with sensing that another human being could have the false belief of owning me. That is a recipe for a divorce. Oh, ya, been there, done that. Moved on.👍 And I came to understand early on that my children had chosen my body as a conduit to be born again but that they were free souls. “Withholding my love”...Is it what I have been doing? I feel some resistance when I hear the word love. I have a protecting wall in place. Is it because I lost my mom when I was seven years old? Then soon after, I was placed in foster care, loosing connection with my siblings, my father and relatives? Did I choose to close my heart that long ago; already understanding that people you love leaves you? Is it that wall that stops me from truly knowing God’s presence, from feeling His love? I understand that I am here because I chose to separate myself from God. I have been asking Jesus to guide me, to help me drop my false beliefs; my fears attached to the word God. And also my resentments towards men in general.🥴🙏 For the longest time, I did not pray to God. I did not want to be judge. I know, so silly. So, I have come a long way. Now, I feel safe to share anything. To be fair, I started sharing with Jesus first.🤪 His guidance is working.👏 “I am sustained by the love of God.” I love those words. They make me feel hopeful. I want to trust, to have faith and to believe that soon, I will be able to feel His unconditional love. And from that point on, during this life time, may I learn to trust, to have faith and believe that I can open my heart and love with ease and receive unconditional love as well.🙏 To clarity coming my way!

Right now, saying “I love you” to God does not feel truthful as I don’t remember my Father and so my words feel empty to me. It feels like I am lying. It is a challenge but I welcome it.
