Anna Go Vanna
Приєднався 5 чер 2014
My name is Anna and I am new to sharing content on UA-cam. Join me as I self-convert my 2023 RAM ProMaster, Vanna, to a camper van. 🛠️
I have never converted a van before but I have done DIY projects in my home like… renovated bathroom, renovated kitchen, and redid my two-tier deck. Perhaps I’ll share those videos one day.

Episode 40 - DIY Solar Panel Rack on Super High Roof ProMaster and Renogy Solar Charge Controller
Vanna now has three working battery charging sources!
The last episode showed the installation of the DC to DC charger which charges from Vanna’s alternator while driving.
This episode shows the installation of the Solar Panels which harnesses solar energy for charging. Shout out to my bro Geoffrey for collaborating on the design of the roof rack. Special appearance from my son, Darnell, assisting me with stripping insulation from 10awg wires because I didn’t have the proper tools. Still on the “To Do” list is to add wind deflector enhancements and to make it look snazzy.
Lastly, there’s the ability to charge batteries from shore power. There’s a video somewhere showing the Transfer Switch, which will switch from Inverter to shore power when the van is plugged in, enabling the batteries to be charged from a Victron Smart Battery Charger (when it is plugged into the shore power).
Note - it is 1/4-20 screws at 1/2” or 1” long! I kept blundering the way to say this the entire video! 😆

00:36 - Design & Plan
04:24 - Attaching long beams
07:00 - Cross beams
09:05 - Long beams in

Переглядів 26214 днів тому
In this episode I am installing , on my 3500 Super High Roof Ram ProMaster van, a Renogy 60a DC to DC charger with a switch so charging while driving, or the vehicle is On, is optional. Whew! 😅
Episode 38 - City water and hot/cold water plumbing in my ProMaster van
Переглядів 1121 день тому
This episode marks the near completion of my plumbing job, with hot and cold water now available. The only outstanding tasks are testing the city water hookup and installing the kitchen sink. Will these tasks prove to be effortless? 😅
Episode 37 - Hot water plumbing in van …and fixed the diesel heater Kalori blower
Переглядів 54Місяць тому
This video showcases my work on hot water plumbing, illustrating the complexity and time required to complete tasks that may initially appear uncomplicated. Nonetheless, I am still encountering difficulties with one connecting piece on the hot water supply line that was included with my heating system. Always something. 🤷🏽♀️ On a positive note, I have resolved the issue with my Kalori blower (...
Episode 36 - I have radiant floor heat! Diesel heater test and replacing diesel fuel level gauge
Переглядів 100Місяць тому
My D5E Hydronic S3 diesel heating system (with radiant heated floors) is running y’all! I should be able to plumb my hot water lines soon. 😅 The Kalori blower (heater) blows air whether furnace is running or not. I’m thinking to add a switch for it if I can’t figure that out. 🤷🏽♀️ Sorry the Kalori blower was loud for most of the video.
Episode 35 - Testing my DC electric devices (3-way switches) in my van and Shore Power install!
Переглядів 117Місяць тому
Continuing Vanna's journey to become a campervan....in this episode I speak on my electrical system and testing the DC and AC circuits and devices. I also install Shore Power. Vanna is a Super High Roof ProMaster RAM and I, Anna, is a simple DIYer ... not an electrician or mechanic...but a wanna be lol. 00:00 - Introduction 00:53 - Transported Elect Box 01:59 - Bus Bar wiring 04:27 - Wiring AC ...
Episode 34 - Electric system setup and sofa for van and testing 4000w inverter
Переглядів 2172 місяці тому
This episode (sorry it is so long) focuses on the electrical compartment for Vanna. I got a 4000w inverter hoping it will power both my cooktop and “oven” at the same time since both requires a little of wattage. I have to mention the trouble I had connecting two (out of 16) cable lugs due to the wires fraying and the connector being…different. Darnell saved the day and did what seemed impossib...
Episode 33 - Installing Murphy Bed Part 3
Переглядів 982 місяці тому
I am self converting my 3500 Super Hugh Roof ProMaster van into a campervan. This video shows that my Murphy Bed is pretty much installed. Still need to bolt a board to the van to support the upper vertical piece. Also, still need to install wall material for midsection wall behind the bed….and storage cabinetry. Another video. Thanks to my son for helping me to lift the bed unto the pivots and...

Episode 32 of Vanna Update: I am converting my Ram ProMaster Super High Roof van into a camper van. It has been a minute since the last Vanna update. I have been experiencing serious storage issues on my mobile along with some wet weather and some personal time off... so in an attempt to catch up this update will be longer than I'd like. For the past month, I have been working towards installin...

In the last video I was waiting on fabric to be delivered. Well it finally arrived! In this episode the partition walls between cabin and cargo area are being installed. 😅
Episode 30 - Van Build: started partition wall and potty slide out
Переглядів 484 місяці тому
Hi, my name is Anna and I am converting my 3500 Super High Roof ProMaster Ram, Vanna, into a camper van. I have never converted a van before but I have done DIY projects in my home such as: bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, and entire deck repair. This is my 30th episode of converting Vanna. This episode video I am doing some wiring, my porta-potty slider, and started on my partition wall. 00:...
Making murphy bed for my ProMaster van - Part 1
Переглядів 684 місяці тому
Working on one of many needed tasks … the murphy bed. So far I have constructed the bed frame but the face panels and mattress support still needs to be done. The outer frame will be a challenge as I deviate from the instructions a bit to accommodate Vanna’s curves. Brainstorming how I will tackle the walls behind the bed. 🤔 Wish I had a table saw. Wish I had a shop.
I had to tear out shower tiles in my ProMaster van!
Переглядів 194 місяці тому
In this video, I am repairing a leak I found coming from my drain pipe underneath my shower base. I raised my shower base up an inch in hopes that I would not have to tear down my shower if this happens again. The final height of my shower is 72”. My van is a Super High Roof model of ProMaster Ram.
Shower tiles and plumbing installed in ProMaster with a twist
Переглядів 5974 місяці тому
Shower tiles and plumbing went in but there is a twist. Watch video til the end. Regarding hot and cold faucets…for those of you with two faucets at home, hot is on the left right? Does it open clockwise or counterclockwise? I read it should be counterclockwise but…maybe not?
Shower walls going up in my ProMaster
Переглядів 2685 місяців тому
Putting another foot forward with my shower walls. Waterproof layer (GoBoard) is in …now I wait for tile samples to arrive. I am leaning towards getting stick-on PVC tiles (the kind that is rated for shower walls) so not heavy. I am also thinking to use clear color silicone/caulk in between the planks and around edges of the shower ceiling when done. What do y’all think? 🤔 The planks are double...

Looking forward to the rest of the build!
Me too! 😂
yey! good job
Thanks ☺️
and @fivepoundpete mounted flexible panels with velcro standoffs and has put many thousands of miles on his van with no issues.
@@MooseVan Too late for me. I already purchased rigid solar panels a while ago before I realized there were no studs on the roof. Gonna have to do a DIY mount.
i love that shower head
@@GoodenuffCollective Thanks 😊
Thanks! Are you sure my bed is lighter because it was heavy to me. 😅
That is so awesome. So much lighter than my murphy. I love your channel. Keep them videos coming.
Thanks! I’m liking it so far 😊
Murphy beds rock. I put one in my van. Best decision ever. Love your channel.
Hi Anna….looks good…I need Darnell to help me with mine! Looking forward to more posts!😊
@@naturallife9931 Thank you! Darnell is super helpful when he’s around and available. I will show him your message. 😊
Pretty cool project!👍
@@thewaterox1 thanks 😊
Hi Y’all! I forgot to mention getting the idea of diesel tank placement from one of Roland Lewis’s videos. In his ProMaster he seems to have a little bit more space than my van.
How exciting, go Anna!!
I will be following you on this journey!
Welcome aboard!
