Added Shanks to my IH Spring Chisel Plow
This is a factory international fast hitch tool bar I’ve had for a couple years it had five shanks on it when I bought it. It was up close to Brandon with Bert Stoll. Tractor Parts and I called him and he had a couple extra shanks shorten along and I stopped by and pick him up while I was up there and I was thinking yeah I’ll just add a couple more and make it a little bit bigger never got around to it yesterday I decided to stop breaking everything loosen I added those last two shanks to it here we go now we got seven shanks so I hope you like the video please like comment subscribe

Just a little video I made when coming back home from my parents farm. It was a cool over cast evening and was a nice peaceful ride.

That’s a 1973 IH 454. That’s the tractor my dad claims. It’s a strong little tractor for 45 hp.

Cultivating Jimmy Red with the Farmall 100
That 100 looks like it’s toting it pretty good. That 100 sounds snappy 😂. I want 1 but the only one I’ve even seen for sale was $500 😢
@@Moorefarmalls I’m starting to like that 100 better than my 140. Daddy’s got one he sell you quick fast and in a hurry😁
Nice chisel plow! After the engine work how much Horse power do you think the 100 is making
@@abbieandjordan thank you. It’s pushing between 28 and 30 hp.
I imagine 7 is a load on a tractor. I had never seen one until Joey's. I've got one and it's amazing how much it helps to work up a spot for a garden.
@@johnnyedgerton9936 it is a load my 140 is all stock and it’s doesn’t like it. But that 100 has oversized pistons and is pushing 30 hp and it handles it just fine.
Thank you for posting this. Growing up, my Dad had a IH Cub Lo-boy, but I could not remember what year it was. This brochure helped pinpoint the year and validates my research and “best guess” that it was a 1959. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to see this.
@@kencritlindemann my pleasure I’ve got several of these old brochures. I just love going trough them and seeing all the old advertising.
Nice old tractor
@@NancyAhalt thank you. It’s one of my favorite.
Sure beats clearing it by hand. That’s a good running machine
Omg you’re killing the poor little red tractor😂. Tractor abuse is a thing 😂. I’m joking. I wish I had it lol. Good looking running tractor
I wish mine was diesel. They some handy little tractors
@@Moorefarmalls yes sir. Would trade for anything else.
Put some fire in the exhaust port. Fire up wayyy faster
@@whydahell3816 I usually use the glow plugs and it fires right up. He didn’t use them that morning and it was about 31°.
Yes sir yawt yawt 😂
Looks like you got a good set of dogs right there
Nah they ragged I’m tellin ya I hunted with them one time
Look like my dawg
@@yeeyee_boi_2595 I do believe that’s Sydney’s dog.
@ nah
I have a 1970 454 diesel runs great but the steering is the Pitts can’t get the power steering to work and have replaced everything but the pump and MCV
@@richardschaffling9882 the steering is loose on this one. I have a new front axle for it and just have to fine the time to change it. Hopefully it it will be this winter and I’ll get some video of it.
Came over from Moore Farms, definitely will have binge watch your videos.
@@TheCajunHomestead thank you
That thing makes powder out of it ❤
Does it look like the exhaust flap isn't moving but the linkage is adjusting and bouncing?
@@springsa930 it idling low right there it flapper barley opens when it idles that low. I’ve got another vest I’m working on of it.
I’m looking forward to next year. Hopefully me and the super A will be there
I love the white nose 140’s. Mine is a 1961. I saved mine from the crusher and I still have to fix it
@@TheW.Homestead I saved this one just about the same. The fella that had it got it from his granddad and didn’t really want it didn’t know anything about it and was ready to scrap it and we got it. We got it under the barn for probably two or three years before I even decided food with it and put it back together. I carried it and 100 to Joey JT West Plow day had a pretty good time. I just watched that video on your super a that things running pretty good
@ thanks. When I bought it the machine was in a wash tub. Someone had taken it apart and rebuilt the engine but lost half of the parts to fully put it back together. It took me 3 years to piece it back together
@ it’s a good looking machine now brother.
My truck 🥰
@@ziongreene3218 it been a good one brother
Nice plow and video. It's the perfect plow for a plow day. I'd like to get one but they are hard to find.
@@johnnyedgerton9936 I look for that one for about a year. The bad thing is I didn’t ever get to knock the paint off at Joeys. My son took and never look back.
Great video. I feel like I maybe the cause of this video 😂
@@Moorefarmalls it’s not like that. Just trying to help some people out.
@ i worried you for 2 weeks almost everyday about my plow 😘
@ I did not mind it one bite. I think I’m going to fine another one and pair up to match your for year so we have 59 140’s and white plows.
@ yeahhh mane
I like the cover photo 😂. 1st plow day I’ve been to and 1st time really plowing. Really enjoyed it. Kinda speechless on the whole thing ❤
@@Moorefarmalls I thought you would like that cover photo. I had a blast yesterday and look forward to the next plow day. You handled that plow like a pro.
@@BlantonFarms thanks but im only a pro at the buffet 😂 im going to try to have something IH and unique for the next 1 👀
It was nice to meet you there. That's probably what i enjoy doing the most on a tractor.
@@johnnyedgerton9936 I agree 100%
Looks good Nick.
@@Jtwes thank you
I want 1 bad 😂
What a wonderful tractor. Tugs at my heartstrings and so does Mullins, where I worked for a textile mill until it closed. I’ll keep an eye out if you ever intend to sell this beauty.
@@kencritlindemann Thank you.I’ll keep you in mind. But I would have a hard time letting it go.

Yours sure do drive better than mine. I have that death wobble going on
It’s till a little loose but I tightened up as much as I could without tearing all the way down.
@@BlantonFarms I’ve got to do something with mine
@@BlantonFarms yea I need to do some tightening on mine. I guess I’m gone have to cut a wrench down to fit
I’m liking your channel. Keep it up and would like to see your fleet of tractors! I watched the implement video and it was pretty neat. I’m hoping I’ll have your luck of fast hitch implements!
Thank you
My 130 has gotten the whole kit and Cabuttle and lighted my wallet up. It’s all new engine rebuilt hydraulics and bout to get new oil slinger and transmission bearings
I was going to do the whole kit but the bottom in was in good shape. I’ve got to get the rear end bearing next.
I’m just finding this channel it’s pretty great! I have a 1957 farmall 130 only one point implements that this tractor has had since new is an original one point notched bog harrow. It will if done right will tear up the ground better than plowing! Keep it up!
Glade you found the channel and thank you. You are correct about those big harrows.
What size tires are those??

I learned to satisfy myself with paint and not worry about it 😂. Them bigger tires look good
