It's a contour guideline for the bust bridge. It's actually 3/4" total (3/8" on each side of the middle line)

Yes, the shoulder will be altered a bit to give the perfect look. Go in by half inch on the shoulder of the bodice and blend this to the armhole and trim off before fixing the sleeve 😍👍

Thank you. Hand - tack the cap sleeve on the surface after fixing the tulle basic sleeve to the dress. You can use lace trimmings or appliqué or hand beading to cover the exposed edge. Hope this helps.

It wasn't on fold because of the way I added fullness at the hem of the sleeve. I have another tutorial that is similar to this that was cut on the fold. I can give you the link to see how that one was done

If you mean adding puff to the hem of the sleeve, then all you have to do is create a channel by running a stitch 3/4", above the tip of the hem. This will create 3/4" channel through which 1/2" elastic could pass to make it puffy on the hem. The sleeve will now be a full hem puff sleeve.

If you want, the puff at the cap of the sleeve then it is a different process altogether, not what I can explain in the comments
