Just buy the Milwaukee
oh and if you need a new one good luck!! gotta buy a new wiring harness!! I have been close to hard wiring a few things haha
get rid of them all together, i hate these locks, especially when your are trying to take off fuel injector connectors with the tiny little locks you try not to break and even after all that they are still a bitch to get off unlocked. So they aren’t falling off 😂
Best part, Harbor Freight hand tools have a lifetime warranty too. There's no need to waste your money for a name
Or you could probably get a turkey baster, or just a big syringe 😂😂😂
Or you know hear me out you turn the crank and lets the pistons push it all out
That's not a good idea. The fact that 4 people liked this comment... makes me sad.
@AngryBobMechanic how so ? It's a push rod engine heads are off , push rods are out ,lifters are out what is putting a breaker bar on the crank and turning it going to damage ? .
Those US General boxes are the best boxes dollar for dollar.
No one wants to pay a carpenter, they’ll hire a handyman who will dick it up then they call us.
Want some of those real bad. Was looking st the blue point/williams ones too cause i got the regular set. And snap on doesnt make reverseable stubbu ratchet wrenches, only non reversible
You sound like a certain billionare. Let me know who you think im talking about 😂
The best thing about HF is the warranty. The fresh out of high school employee gives less than a fuck that you used that screwdriver as a chisel or pry bar. It's not their money.
1 second into this video I could’ve told you the thermostat was bad. Just cause I see these almost every day at the dealer.
I’ve seen this once but I wasn’t the one to diagnose it so idk what the fix was but just from my understanding it seems like if the computer thought the car was way under operating temp then the fan wouldn’t cut on at all as it would be overcooling.
Snap-on doesn't even manufacture most of their tools but instead rebrands existing stock from major producers overseas.
they made in the USA
Where’s rainbolt
Milwaukee has a 8-22mm ratcheting combo wrenches for 270 new with a similar anti slip tech I bought them for 130 on FB marketplace
I make 100$ an hour, I wouldn’t work on diesel engines or anything with my own tools for 15$ an hour I would work a Texas road house or Starbucks
Wrightgrip wrenches are the best purchase I ever made. I hate the feel of the icon ones. They are a good deal though
JCB tools are rebadged Snap-on tools just away lot cheaper
These are a good deal at their current price. At their normal price they're not really anything special. The snap on set can be had on a good sale for less than $300 7-19mm which is good if you're a professional but these are great for starting out or a home set
So in 60 years will my grandson still be able to replace these because i still replace my grandfathers wrenches that i use to this day from snap on not only that i tried these the open end opens up under high torque the snap ons dont
basically is Matco and Carlyle wrenches exactly the same 😏
I absolutely agree. Luckily I no longer have trucks coming to me, which really sucks but when I know I need truck quality, I shop Ebay or unfortunately the manufacturer website direct which is a joke. I have recently found myself shopping for more Japanese n German made tools, Koken is incredible and cheaper than Snap On while maybe a better product. Bcuz I don't have a truck the benefit of warranty is no longer available. It sucks n I do want American made quality tools but not at the cost of living.
American is dirty. Look at ford vs toyota. What will last? Pay now or later your choice
Icon are GREAT tools. 30 years in the biz... and I own several grand in Snap On WRENCHES alone (that I bought 20+ years ago)
Icon is a very good for DIY or Justin startup as a tech. Hell if it works and makes you money then it’s a good tool. I wish icon was around when o started turning wrenches. But I do ❤ love my snap on wrenches 🔧
I beat the piss out of this exact set daily. They're geat.
They are a speciality damaged fastener pattern, probably not ideal for everyday general purpose use. Not saying they aren't good or worth the money but do you really want teeth biting into fasteners that's being re-installed? Good to have for when you need such features, people are buying these thinking they are ideal for everyday use which they are not. And if you are to compare them to other makers, do it with their 'damaged fastener' designs so your comparing apples to apples.
I choose the SNAP ON just because
Only way to stop it is either get rid of the middleman which is the tool truck franchisee or stop making them in USA. If you want both then in any industry you will pay a premium. The issue is not Snap On. The issue is the cost of American labor due to inflation. Blame your government who keeps printing money.
Is a quick fix, put chain around engine yank out with large truck and replace with a LS engine. Problem solved. 😅
$129.00 now
Sale over
They are $120
Sale is over
only a hack with more $ in tools than in brains has these problems.
harbor freight baled me out many times taking things apart
I wish they copied mac instead
$500 for a set of Snap On wrenches? Brother that's pre-pandemic prices. They're over $700 after tax.
$69?
There was a sale.
I went to 3 different harbor freight stores a bought them all up. I'll be putting them up on ebay for a huge mark-up
hell yeah charge that working man, you POS
If someone will buy em why not!
Bro i have 2/3 of there tools in my box cause no tool truck will come to my shop cause i boarder 2 states . I’ve had them for 2 years and hands down no issues except breaking torques bits . So there work sockets wrench’s but there still holding up and I’ve been told at any time come in and exchange for a new set
Dude, take your meds.
Surprisingly I am not on any medication
@@AngryBobMechanic explains a lot..
I bought the versions of these that don't have those insane jaws and I can't wait to put some use on them. I've been using the flex ratcheting set forever now and whenever I needed a thinner box end I didn't have it lol
Whatever works!
Its because there are so many shady shops with all their "upsells" that are not needed and a simple job becomes $3,000⁰⁰. I'm by no means saying your l you are one of those places or people.
I hear that, thanks for commenting
I currently feel the same. How can i keep myself from getting ucked today?
Carefully navigate
Don't feel like i singled you out, I won't pay for any of those other guys either.
Ok
Having to go behind a hack wiring job is the worst. It’s always cheaper to just bring it to someone competent the first time.
My old friend and I use to work on our cars together... frustration is inevitable, especially with broken fasteners, stuck parts, etc... cursing happens, but so do prayers....answered prayers. God Speed / Hang In There, ...derek
Ok
It's because the law does not enforce a inspection on vehicles 👍
Cause y’all charge 150 an hour for labor bruh
What’s a plumber, electrician, or contractor charge?
I'll do my own plumbing too😂
@@brc050100Yea guess you enjoy swinging in 💩 when it goes. 🤦🏾
FYI it’s 200HR but not everyone charges the same but again tell me how much you spend after loading the parts cannon on your vehicles by listening to morons and bunch of videos that mean nothing unless you know how it works. But this is why I don’t have sympathy on some people especially ones like yourself (no pun intended) cuz you will spend hundreds of dollars playing the guessing game when you could’ve just paid us techs and most of the time it something very cheap when you get it on time. Like I tell my clients the more you wait the more it will cost you later.
How much should we charge?
At $70 HF is making money. Imagine how much snap on is making from the price + the financing
