get rid of them all together, i hate these locks, especially when your are trying to take off fuel injector connectors with the tiny little locks you try not to break and even after all that they are still a bitch to get off unlocked. So they aren’t falling off 😂

The best thing about HF is the warranty. The fresh out of high school employee gives less than a fuck that you used that screwdriver as a chisel or pry bar. It's not their money.

I’ve seen this once but I wasn’t the one to diagnose it so idk what the fix was but just from my understanding it seems like if the computer thought the car was way under operating temp then the fan wouldn’t cut on at all as it would be overcooling.

Snap-on doesn't even manufacture most of their tools but instead rebrands existing stock from major producers overseas.

These are a good deal at their current price. At their normal price they're not really anything special. The snap on set can be had on a good sale for less than $300 7-19mm which is good if you're a professional but these are great for starting out or a home set

I absolutely agree. Luckily I no longer have trucks coming to me, which really sucks but when I know I need truck quality, I shop Ebay or unfortunately the manufacturer website direct which is a joke. I have recently found myself shopping for more Japanese n German made tools, Koken is incredible and cheaper than Snap On while maybe a better product. Bcuz I don't have a truck the benefit of warranty is no longer available. It sucks n I do want American made quality tools but not at the cost of living.

They are a speciality damaged fastener pattern, probably not ideal for everyday general purpose use. Not saying they aren't good or worth the money but do you really want teeth biting into fasteners that's being re-installed? Good to have for when you need such features, people are buying these thinking they are ideal for everyday use which they are not. And if you are to compare them to other makers, do it with their 'damaged fastener' designs so your comparing apples to apples.

Only way to stop it is either get rid of the middleman which is the tool truck franchisee or stop making them in USA. If you want both then in any industry you will pay a premium. The issue is not Snap On. The issue is the cost of American labor due to inflation. Blame your government who keeps printing money.

FYI it’s 200HR but not everyone charges the same but again tell me how much you spend after loading the parts cannon on your vehicles by listening to morons and bunch of videos that mean nothing unless you know how it works. But this is why I don’t have sympathy on some people especially ones like yourself (no pun intended) cuz you will spend hundreds of dollars playing the guessing game when you could’ve just paid us techs and most of the time it something very cheap when you get it on time. Like I tell my clients the more you wait the more it will cost you later.
