The Impromptu Clarinet Quartet is an exciting and dynamic new ensemble based in Cardiff. Formed in November 2016, the quartet members are made up of former Portuguese Air Force Band clarinetist Tiago Ferreira and Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama Masters Graduate and students David Dodd, Sophie Young and Rowena Mayo.
Together, the Impromptu Clarinet Quartet hope to share their passion for music through their varied repertoire, from standard clarinet quartet pieces to famous orchestral works such as overtures, waltzes, polkas, tangos, and klezmer.
