The Panasonic Blu-Ray DVD VHS combo player is the DMP-BD70V. It is a magnificent unit. I have 1 that I use, and last year bought a "open box" one on eBay for 600. Sold it a few months later for double that. It is a great unit and definitely worth the price!

I am 46....and been audio fan for a long time...and this was my first cassette player I bought with my own money...my mom bought me my first walkman in like 1986 and used that for along time till I purchased this tape deck in 1996....I used it all they way up till I went to boot camp for the Coast Guard in 1999...and then unfortunately I went off on the digital world of music while it might be cleaner and better dynamic range....I always find analog a bit more natural sounding.....anyhow I was at one estate sale here in Hudson, Florida and found this tape deck steal not quite as cheap as what you found but still I really good deal, it was immaculate condition and clean on the inside....I lucked out...I was stocked when I saw it....I have this paired up with an older pioneer elite stereo receiver with some bowers and Wilkins tower speakers and they sound amazing....good review!!

Using those included cables (RCA) you won't be watching in 1080 resolution. Typical RCA has a max resolution of 480i. Upgrade to a HDMI cable to be certain.

I have a variant of those boxes too I think mine is under the ematic or emtec brand name. I have another one in my other room that is under the CORE brand name.....all chinese made, not the worst products ive used. I think pretty much all of them use the same operating system/user interface

Everything proven vhs tapes don't stop playing at all it's the VCR player itself stops playing y your mode switche needs cleaning every now and then everything proven dirty mode switches causes problem's in time like it doesn't play a tapes at all or sometimes it starts eating tapes everything proven people keep there mode switche clean out they will never have that problem at all now if you don't know what a mode switch is you can go online and say how clean out a mode switch in a VCR player everything will come up online what you need to see on UA-cam videos
