Pity they retconned him as a shape shifter imposter in the later season. Bowie a superpowered being in a flamboyant organization that lives by its own rules fits so well for Venture Bros lore.
family guy ain't a DAMN FRACTION of the show Dr. Katz is in terms of humor, quality, and sophistication. Anyone over 11 years old watching family guy is tasteless scum.
"You're lucky I don't kill you right here after what you pulled in Berlin." Quit a horrible cocaine addiction and recorded some of his most critically acclaimed albums? Damn Brock show the guy a little support
Originally David Bowie was supposed to voice act as himself for this show. However he declined and did his voice wall for a SpongeBob SquarePants and the episode squarepantis Atlantis... He did it for the kids he said. Sadly none of them will truly appreciate his contribution for that episode, however you can respect the man for many reasons. Such as the fact that he actively fought for black people to be recognized in the music industry and even called out MTV's nonsense and not promoting them
Hot take, but david bowie as a musician wasn't very good Compared to his contemporaries, he was couldn't sing, just cuz you dressed up like lady gaga before she was born doesn't make you good, his greatest commercial success wasn't even in usa or UK but in japan, he made a fun show best ill give him
While I appreciate a shout out to the greatest animated series of all time, Dr. Katz, could they not have come up with something funnier than this? Seems so lazy, like they just feel like the reference alone is enough, who gives a shit if the content is actually good or funny
See, this is another thing I hated about Family Guy: they _would_ use another comedy show's conceit to try and get a laugh, when Seth McFarlane isn't funny enough to be on Dr Katz ever.
The guy from Labyrinth turned into a bird!
Klaus Nomi 😎
Seeing Ms. The monarch and Bowie being this close and remembering Mrs. the monarch has to be the one to replace him is kinda sad
For anyone who doesn’t know it’s not the real Bowie, it’s one if the Diamond dogs with the power to disguise himself as anyone.
Klaus Nomi is a real deep cut.
"Make way for the homo-superior" Me: 🎶Look out at your children🎶
I miss when you could still tell that this was animated in FLASH.
Was that screeching dude… Klaus Nomi:)?
Bit men think he is a unicorn!
I’m gonna tell my kids this was David bowie
It’s sad culture is so bad that references and renditions of characters like this will never be this good or common again.
I just love how they use the syntetizer parts from Space Oddity.
As a kid I had no idea who Klaus Nomi is, as an adult i see it was such an obscure reference that really shows how amazing this show was.
Pity they retconned him as a shape shifter imposter in the later season. Bowie a superpowered being in a flamboyant organization that lives by its own rules fits so well for Venture Bros lore.
Klaus Nomi there too!
Season and episode?
Love this
family guy ain't a DAMN FRACTION of the show Dr. Katz is in terms of humor, quality, and sophistication. Anyone over 11 years old watching family guy is tasteless scum.
when fg was funny without even trying.
Tom Snyder and Soup2Nuts has a animation skin problem characters.
"You're lucky I don't kill you right here after what you pulled in Berlin." Quit a horrible cocaine addiction and recorded some of his most critically acclaimed albums? Damn Brock show the guy a little support
I think it’s implied they got into some sort of fight.
MAKE WAY FOR THE HOMO SUPERIOR!
What I wouldn't give to love anything as much as Publick and Hammer love Bowie
Is d. Bowies henchman supposed to be iggy pop? Cause it lools a lot like iggy pop.
Tah
No way. thats fucking Klaus Nomi. what the fuck!

Spoiler i wish they hadn't killed him off
wait, did Bowie reference Phantom Pain's "Diamond Dogs"?
Other way around dude, try again
Interesting how multiple times in Superjail it's acting within your better nature that can save you. Truly rehabilitating.
Which episode is this?
My favorite character moment from the series
what did i just watch
Anyone else wanna know what happened between Brock & Bowie in Berlin? No? Just me? Ok
Lol.
Ed edd n eddy had moving outlines too...

I like how the weights were coins and nuts and bolts
While I appreciate a shout out to the greatest animated series of all time, Dr. Katz, could they not have come up with something funnier than this? Seems so lazy, like they just feel like the reference alone is enough, who gives a shit if the content is actually good or funny
You can tell he was snorting coke there at the end.
See, this is another thing I hated about Family Guy: they _would_ use another comedy show's conceit to try and get a laugh, when Seth McFarlane isn't funny enough to be on Dr Katz ever.
This is twice as funny now that I’ve seen Dr. Katz
Warburton’s way of saying David Bowie is to this day is one of the funniest lines and deliveries I’ve ever heard.
Bohweeeh
I'm sure every show on Adult Swim is just someones dreams being projected onto a screen.
Make way for the *homo superior*
The Goblin King himself
Dr Katz was also on South Park
ill remember David Bowie wise word "make way for homo superior".
I got a 5 second ad before this.
Lucifer Morningstar from the Sandman series is based on David Bowie No actually, it's true, he's actually based off David Bowie
