I'm more impressed that your settlers didn't seem to have pathing issues 😅👌🏾 Good job, looks amazing
@@waltermosito1544 Thank-you my good man. I'm also surprised how well the settler pathing was too, having multiple ways to each floor definitely helps alot with that. 😄👍
Maybe i should try the slot machine idk
Another great looking build! I am going to borrow some of the ideas you used here to create my own version of this tower at a new build at Outpost Zimonja.
@@dwarf_nz483 thank you my friend👍 Steal away, that's what these vids are for 😁🤘
Man ive tried the pillar glitch with the lanterns so many times, can never it to work as it always goes red. Any tips?
@@bushwhackingprepper9162 hey bud, if your trying to do what I did with the fire/pillar glitch then it won't work if the ground your sinking in has two layers ( e.g a floor on top of a roof ) That's why I took the wooden pre-fab out first before I pillar glitched the lantern. Hope that helps 😁👍
Haha that explains it. Thanks man. I love your builds by the way.
@@bushwhackingprepper9162 thanks bud 😊😊👍👍
I gotta admit, I didn't understand a thing of what you did, but that sure looks cool. Got thousands of hours in this game.
@@danieldbdb thanks for watching, If your interested in starting to build I can assure you that you will put many more thousands of hours in the game. There's a video called '50 tips & tricks' by @orangesqueasy that will teach you better than I could. But most of this build was 'build order ', To place the metal pre-fab on top of the wood one, you need the wooden upper floor (the thick one) to do it . The bottom of the wood floor will snap to the roof of the wooden pre-fab while the floor of the metal pre-fab will snap to the top. It's a lot of fun building and experimenting, give it a go yourself 😁👍
Esta increíble bro 😮🤩
Thank-you my friend , I'm glad you liked it 😁👍
Very simple, but nice guard tower build. Definitely going to use some of these ideas myself! Great video.
Toujours d'excellentes vidéo à regarder de tes constructions. Tu donnes vie aux colonies efficacement. Merci pour le partage et les idées.
Thank-you my friend, always happy to have you watch.🥰 I have a feeling that you are going to like the next build video 😁👍
@@TangoandCaps j'en suis sûr aussi 👍
what is up with the shooting? I fifigure its some mechanic I don't know. Got maybe about 10 hours in to the game.
He is building this creation on one of the DLC maps, ("far harbor" i believe) that area frequently has radiation storms/fog, there is a buildable "fog condenser" item with the DLC that can repel these storms. It looks like he has wired it up to a target that triggers when it senses its been hit and it sends a signal to the fog condenser to repel the storm.
Triggers the power to a launcher for weather changing shells. But the weather there REALLY wants to be a rad-storm.
Hey bud, thanks for watching, if you don't have any DLC's then I'm not surprised your thinking "what sorcery is this". It's a fireworks morter from the contraptions dlc (or wasteland workshop I can't remember) The target I'm shooting is a pulse switch. There are several ways of using the morter , you can wire it straight to the power source and place each clear weather shell in 1 at a time( bit annoying) or you can load it up with shells and (instead of wiring it directly to power source)attach it to one of several things(pressure plate,a timer or a pulse switch) and attach those items up to power. By shooting the target once it releases a split second of power that fires up 1 flare, tbh I should have gone with the timer on this vid. Hope this helps 😁👍
@@TangoandCaps They really should have made one of the Far Harbor endings lift the fog and replaced it with the normal weather patterns.

wow i looove this build style! the lil market on the docks is soo cute, its kinda like a lil flea market 😍 i love the way u connect little buildings together so perfectly & that huge building on the rocks looks incredible! i find it rly hard to build big buildings like that and make them look decent & u absolutely nailed it! the picket fences work rly well there. & the flamingos are a great touch 😂🩷 ty for the inspo hehe
@@funkberries_ thank you , glad you liked it. Those buildings aren't as big as you think, I like building on raised ground like that because it just oops more imposing when it's looming over the smaller structures. The fire/pillar glitch worked a treat on the boardwalk and it has the same sound F/X that libertalia has. I built this in 2 weeks and many of the little shops I put out as build vids, I'm on a ps4 so I only have 15 minutes record time. 🥰👍
I just discovered your channel, and subjectively I think; you are quite creative, but not too much, but in terms of technique, you are the most effective Fallout 4 no mod Builder.. you know I just created my channel and have uploaded a few videos, just a beginner's channel, nothing special, but I'm a Fallout 4 player for a long time, if you don't mind checking it out, maybe there are some ideas that can be your inspiration 😅
@@OknumGamer2000 thanks for watching and the.....compliment 🤣 I'll be glad to check out your channel , Always glad to have new builders in our building community. If u like creativity then check out my buddy EZEfallout's channel, the builds will amaze you 👍
@TangoandCaps sorry bro, didn't mean anything, it's just that I'm used to saying what it is, which is based on my perception of course... and yeah, I've watched EZE channels, I think he's very creative, super creative in fact 😅, but I don't know why, I I feel like it's a little too much haha 😅, I like your work better, it's more natural and more lore friendly 👍
@OknumGamer2000 no worries, I thought it was funny how you worded it that's all 😁 EZEfallout is one of the best builders on YT and I only wish I could be as good as him one day. Check out his 'pack rats' build at taffington or his 'silo' build at sunshine for lore friendly stuff. I do appreciate your cool comments on this build, especially as I built it in about a week and another week of decorating and junk collecting (rad barrels ,buoys, pictures etc) . I build on survival mode (mostly) on a ps4 so I tend to limit my junk because it falls through things (I hate that)so I make up for it with junk that you have to carry into the settlement, glad you like the style. 😁👍
@@TangoandCaps yeah bro, collecting unique junks to decorate our settlement is a very inspiring technique, I really like it... I play on PS5, more or less I also have to maintain the limitations of this console, especially as I'm trying to make my entire settlement in one save file / playthrough, that's why I make most of my settlements not too big, and only inhabited by a few settlers..
The Slaugh
You know T&C if you weren't on console and had created this settlement build to be uploaded via transfer up to Nexus for others to enjoy, I would have loved to download and use it. What you've done here has given opportunity for the parking lot to be used for several different avenues, such as manufacturing, Gunner Cage hunting, Arena and the list goes on. I have several of my own creations up on Nexus but they are pre gen update so they are pretty much no longer any good.
@@Babyboomer_59 thanks for watching my friend and you may be in luck 🤞. My ps4 just......died 🪦. My friend lent me a pc and he downloaded all my saves on it. Your not the first to ask about downloading to nexus. Also what do you mean about pre gen updates, is that what Bethesda did earlier this year because I haven't plugged my ps4 online since 2021. If so that means all of my builds are like yours. Sorry for the dumb question. if you like this "tower ' build then check out my pack tower at zimonja.🙂👍
Stunning. Bravo!
@@ClaireValentine-u7n thank you 👍
This is my favorite location to build. I love the shape of these structures. they really compliment the cliffs. So many little nooks and crannies makes this feel alive. Lots of funny little touches as well. I really enjoyed this one ❤
@@EZEfallout Thank-you good sir. I also love Dalton, there's a bit of everything there, and the build budget is huge. Your awesome DOJO and ONAWHIM were built here but I never realised it has the same sound F/X as the libertalia. My evil gnomes also made a return, there normally torturing Teddy bears. 🧸💣 thanks for watching my friend 👍
@TangoandCaps 🐻 🔪
ファーハーバーで一番過ごしやすそうな居住地だと思うここ よくできてるなぁ
Thank-you for commenting. 👍 If you ever pay a visit to far harbor, Just make sure you lock your door at night. The flamingos and gnomes get very........hungry 🦴
Having watched some of the piecing of this one together, the final tour is outstanding! It amazes me that you did all of this without the aid of mods... It gives me some ideas to play with next time I attempt to build at Dalton Farm. Beautifully executed!
@@dwarf_nz483 Thank-you for watching my friend, and I highly recommend Dalton farm as a settlement. It has a massive build bar and in fact I built most of this within the original limit, only did the size settlement glitch for a guardtower, the clinic and some decorating. It has water(Inc beach),cliffs and a cool Dock area that has the same sound FX as the libertalia. Happy building 😄👍
Toujours énormément de travail sur vos constructions et votre décoration !! Des idées folles, un mélange de matériaux (fer, bois, beton...). Félicitations pour votre travail, c'est magnifique à regarder.
Thank-you my good man, it certainly different from my earlier settlements ( all those repeating textures, same floor, same walls etc). When you change up the build tabs and use different materials , you don't have to use that much junk items because the build itself makes up for it (decorating with junk can be a tedious). Thanks again for watching my friend. 😄👍
breh idk how you got the time to pump out these quality builds. Great job on Dalton. I always figured using the hill cliff as a house base. lucky yo have a sunny day, well as sunny it can be for FH
@@orangesqueasy thanks for commenting bud and I joined your discord(apologies if I'm abit slow on things, I'm learning). I had shit loads of settlements already on my ps4 going back to early 2022 . I do however build quickly, just not that quick. I actually started this build where you said,on the cliff. I wanted a big building on the cliff looming over everything. This settlement took about a week(ish) to build and another week of decorating, junk collecting(those rad barrels don't walk themselves back...lol) and trouble shooting e.g the barman kept getting stuck under the floor so I put some big vault tech boxes and that chunky box/barrel junk item (that fixed it). I built mostly everything you see within the build budget except 1 guardtower, the clinic and a bit of decor, I ❤ Dalton farm. And if you sleep until morning then fire up a few clear weather shells and see if it clears, if not reload and repeat. You will get a nice sunny day, for December...lol. This works in all settlements except echo lake lumber (tis a silly place). Thanks again for watching my friend and stay squeasy 😄👍
Impressive build, that's a lot of pillar, rug, ashtray and campfire glitching!
@@joeharmon8470 also lots and lots of clear weather shells. Thanks for watching 🙂👍

@@TangoandCaps I am a draftsman for architecture and civil engineering. As a Fallout player, I love seeing how people manage to build something like this in the game
@@malteschober4222cool job😎, as a civil engineer you can recognise what a deathtrap my buildings are..lol. I started the settlement at the top of the cliff by throwing down floors and going with the flow, I build better settlements like that. This build took about 2 weeks to build and decorate and I'm happy how it turned out. I think I may have some more builds on my channel that you might like, and if you like architecture then some of my really old builds will put a smile on your face😁 Would love to know what you think of my hospital, shopping mall and sports center. Thanks again 👍
Heck I bet almost everyone does this already. I know I do.
Thanks for watching. At least you can put the pre fab anywhere now. This was the last quick build I did at this settlement which is out tomorrow, why don't you drop by. 👍
i must say.... i watched many fallout4 building tutorials, but yours are the best. the 15 min builds are awesome! and no useless or confusing comments... i love it.
Thank-you for watching and your cool comment. your probably a little like me. I learn best when I'm watching people build instead of explaining it. Plenty more to come 👍
Nice build. How do you change the colour of a light bulb?
@@mirko.87 thanks for watching 👍 Those are actually cycling lights from the wasteland workshop/contraptions DLC's (sorry can't remember which one). You will find them in the electrical misc tab. The ones in the vid are wi-fi glitched to save time , but you don't have to do it that way. You can use the wireless glitch to do it just stick a conduit on the roof. Wiring them up normally is a pain in the arse. Hope this helps. 🙂
Style très différent de ce que tu fais actuellement mais très très bien réussi. C'est bien pensé et bien réalisé. J'adore, c'est propre et plein de bonnes idées. Bravo, bravo, bravo.
Thank-you my friend, it was originally going to be a museum and as I was building the lower floors I was almost tempted to turn it into a bond villain layer. Let's just say it was a good idea that got out of hand 😂 Thanks again 👍
Haha vc é muito paciente, não consigo fazer uma construção tão estreita sem o Mod Place Anywhere
Thank you for watching and commenting my friend, so many settlements were off limits to me before I learned to build properly, now I love building in the worst places. 😃👍
Love the generator shed. Did something similar with the shed at Longfellow's Cabin. It became where the fusion generator was housed to protect it in case of attack. Had to subscribe if only for the 80s movie reference in the name.
@@Mr._Anderpson thank you for subscribing, also thank you for being the first to work out my name. 🤣 That metal pre fab is my go to generator shed, as you can see the fusion generator fits in nicely ,and the conduit sticks out the top. I didn't know the wireless glitch back then so this was a godsend. Thanks again bud. 😄👍
@@TangoandCaps The name thing surprises me, but then I remember 1989 was 35 years ago. Ask someone in the 80s or early 90s to name a buddy cop movie and you'd hear "Tango & Cash", "Lethal Weapon", or even "Turner & Hooch". Now we're more likely to say "Bad Boys" or "Hot Fuzz".
@@Mr._Anderpson I was going to call myself 'a fistful of caps', then you would think i was really old 😁

And as I would say:👍 Thanks for watching
☕️ Happy Sunday 🔨
@@EZEfallout happy Sunday to you good sir 🧐 I take it the hammer emoji is the symbol for building, how did you know......lol 😂
I always wanted to make something of the large screen, but never got any ideas. This os brilliant, thank you
@@TrueWarriorHontoNoSenshi your welcome, this build started from the hole in the wall that is on the left when you go up the stairs. I made a platform of warehouse floors on the outside so I could pillar glitch a small floorboard flush with the hole and just snapped everything else from there. It was great fun building this and the screen itself was very squishy for snapping things ( couldn't use the fire/pillar glitch though). Give it a go yourself and thanks for watching 😃👍
Sorry if you mentioned it somewhere else, but which settlement is that? I haven’t played in a long while. Great channel, nice build you have
@@TrueWarriorHontoNoSenshi Thank-you for watching and the cool comments. The settlement is DALTON FARM from the far harbor DLC, it has one of the biggest build budgets in the game ( only. Spectacle Island and vault 88 are bigger). The settlement tour itself is out in a few days 😃👍
Not sure if this is a console playthrough but place everywhere would make your life so mush easier, (no mods) doesn't necessarily mean you can't use a building mod, it just takes the place of glitching items and as mentioned makes your life much easier.
@@Babyboomer_59 thanks for watching, I do play on console and I get what you say about it being easier, it certainly would make my life easier. I can't really explain why I don't, I just really like it when I can do something the game wouldn't normally allow. 👍
@TangoandCaps im on ps5. You should use qwpa mod. It's basically the pillar glitch with no restrictions
@lack4aname thanks for watching bud, One day I will but at the moment I'm quite happy making the game do things it wasn't supposed to. It's quite satisfying for some reason. 👍
2:06 I've noticed that if you aren't looking at something that the object you are holding will not be considered as overlapping since the thing you aren't looking at technically isn't being rendered So a way to help with moving that piece up is to stand right next to it while looking down when selecting it, holding E, then scrolling up. Doesn't work if you are too close to the other thing or if you can see a little bit of it
@@gg_sam7847 thanks for the useful tip my friend, I definitely had problems with that shack bridge, I also had a problem with the meat stall shack bridge as well,. I think the ground around that area is funny possibly due to the buildings that used to be there...?? Thanks for watching 😀👍
This whole build is turning out so sweet. Your efficiency is fun to watch.
@@patrickedwards2173 Thank-you my friend I'm glad your enjoying it. Funnily enough, that metal pre fab is my go to for the fusion generator. That's why I'm looking to change it up with ideas from other builders like yourself. B.T.W this build is out on Tuesday, Thanks for watching bud 👍
what settlement is this?
That shack bridge sure didn't like you.
No it certainly did not, the whole area around there is a bit funny. I was thinking of starting again but thought, nope. As long as the 'mistake' isn't catastrophic ,then I will leave it in video, plus I like to torture you ( that's what you get for being a synth spy) 👀 Thanks for watching shec 😊

Very nice as usual! Thanks to your kids my settlements don't look like ifi just copy and pasted everything.
Thanks bud, I'm glad this helped 😃
@@TangoandCaps it really does, all of your vids have gotten me back into the game and unlike before i am actually upgrading settlements instead of just ignoring them. Keep up the quick build videos they are very good for people who lack creativity such as myself
@@closjay8323 thanks bud, I'm glad my little builds have inspired people like yourself to start building again. The whole point was to show how easy it can be (I even leave my mistakes in just to show its not the end of the world if you screw things up first time round). I prefer watching someone building something than explaining in a 2 hrs vid all the technical ins and outs, I get bored and lose focus easily 🤭 FYI my next build is a funky guardtower 👍
Which settlement site is this?
@@malteschober4222 thanks for watching, this is Dalton farm (far harbour) and the settlement itself will be out next week 😀👍

Ah yes the infamous overkill route
Thanks for watching. I was building at greentop nursery on survival mode and every time I ran to the slog it was under attack from gunners (always with 2 legendary gunners) so I just used it to farm legendary equipment 😃
I'm really blown away by this. Just wow 😳
Thank-you, I appreciate you taking the time to comment and I'm happy you liked it 😄👍
Awesome and inspirational. I as it over the size ? How many bars over ?
Thanks for watching, I kept it at a reasonable size so it's about 1 size bar (had to go over the limit a little bit) 😃👍
2:06 I like how you incorporated the terrain here with the raised dirt leading to the vendor window. 2:55 The general trader is very nicely stocked with junk items. 3:49 Love the walking cane on the game. After I shot my Nordhagen vid I wished I would have placed something other than the commie whacker on the machine. 4:37 Must have been barrels of fun carrying that all the way here.... One of my favorite decorations to use BTW. 4:57 Sardeliac wouldn't like that fire sitting on plywood. 5:33 Is that a giant balsa wood tree? It looks light. 9:03 I love using that red door in the exact same way. In the comment section of that Nordhagen vid there should be a reply to Mr.E with a link to a quick vid with that same door. The floor plan of that quick vid is almost exactly the same as my Nordhagen bar but the structures are completely different. 9:33 Easy livin this ain't. 10:02 I haven't built much at County Crossing. I wasn't aware the telephone pole was in the border. Nice job incorporating it into your wiring. Really cool vid. It has a great feel to it.
Hey shec thanks for watching, had to finish up recording a build so I watched the vid u recommended first. Some of those stairs are outside the settlement, only just fit them in. I'm always forgetting to bring a commie wacker so hammers/bats/batons will do. Those barrels are also a favourite of mine (jugs as well). SSHHH...don't tell Sar (this is also his favourite settlement,Lol). That tree looks awesome at night with the contrasting glow from the lantern and the purple cycling light. This is the first settlement I used the doors like that, gives the build some badly needed colour. This is only my 2nd time building at CC, kind of enjoyed it and I do like using trees/poles for power lines.,not original but looks cool 😎. Glad you liked it my friend 😄👍
@@TangoandCaps It's kind of weird, I always liked the grey colorless tones of Fallout 3 over the more colorful world of 4. I wish 4 felt more dreary. However when I'm building I'm always trying to bring in color. Pushing colorful cars next to buildings, using the box car doors as walls using the red doors, the green doors, the cages, and anything else I can. I do wish they gave us more variety.
@@TheInsaneShecklador I loved new Vegas but I adore FO3, lonely and desolate but also great to explore. I love FO4 but let's be honest, we both would have given up on this game years ago if it wasn't for the building, still would have come back to play coz it's awesome ,thanks bud 😃
@@TangoandCaps You're mostly correct on the building. After I lost my saves I lost nearly all motivation to play Fallout 4 for a while. What got me back was doing some challenge runs at the encouragement of a UA-camr named Goblin Tacos. I've done a few runs that aren't on my channel like a lowest level to beat the game, a homeless run with some very strict rules (haven't finished that one yet) and a few others. It really changes the dynamic of the game when you force rules upon yourself that prevent you from becoming a god and make you think of other ways to solve various problems. Similar to figuring out ways to solve building problems. That being said my favorite part of Fallout 4 will always be settlement building. I did film the majority of my challenge runs and perhaps one day I'll finally get them edited into something worth uploading.
@@TheInsaneShecklador I have played fallout 4 more than any 2 other games combined. I have RDR2 sat on my shelf and I haven't even played it yet. But your right about the challenges and restrictions, it definitely changes the game play style. That's why I did the level one nuka world challenge, best fun I've had in years.
