Hi, I'm Aidan Rohrback, and I'm train enthusiast from Chicago, Illinois. I've been recording trains since March of 2024, and since then I've started uploading on my UA-cam channel, ChicagoRailfan157. I make videos documenting a specific location I go to record trains, and I may make a railroad music video every once in a while.

On August 4th, 2024, I made my way to the Illinois Railway Museum for the 33rd Annual Vintage Transportation Extravaganza. Many trains including Frisco 1630 and Chicago & Northwestern 411 operated on this day. Along with the numerous trains, vintage cars were also brought to the museum by volunteers.

Got to ask you Aidan. In that one clip. Were you running the video backwards? Or was that steam engine going backwards? Also? Is that an R2D2 robot I saw?
If you're talking about the clip at 2:57, 1630 was indeed moving backwards. And yes, an R2D2 robot was there.

Fresh new station with bright yellow lines and clean pavement. You captured Metra and the station nicely.
Yeah, I was surprised. Most Metra stations are either concrete slabs with a shelter, or an authentic 20th century station. Sure, Peterson/Ridge is basically just a platform, but it has so much more. Plus, it's accesible.
