I fell down another steep Hill at Biggin Hill Airport, I ended up not changing to low gear in time and ended up smashing into a builders road slope as I never knew it was so steep. Saltbox Hill is another steep one, pretty scary. The builders slope probably saved my life, it was sandy and I pointed my helmets visor into it to slow down my body from flying into the hedge, my visor gradually scooped enough sand up to slow me.
I used to walk down that hill as a kid after school. We Lived in Trottiscliffe (pronounced Trozli), but went to school in Gravesend. Thankfully mum used to drive us up to the bus stop at the top of the hill, opposite the pub The Vigo. BTW we anglicised the name, we said Vi-go, not Vee-go.

Right you need to cycle the 8.5 hills of Egham. Tite Hill is the worst. (As in not hardest but also least fun)
Well done. I’m considering this after heading up Alderbrook Road, down Barhatch Lane and then back up. Adding some extra elevation during a sportive.
Jim Haysom Cheers mate, give us a follow on facebook.com/broleur to let us know how you get on.
