A voyage on the steam ship SS Bjoren (1867)
This is rather long movie of my voyage on the wood fired steamer SS Bjoren in 2023. It is so long in fact that the movie covers 60% of the trip in real time. On this occasion the steamer sails north on Åraksfjorden from Bygland in Norway, through the lock at Storstraumen, a bit further and back again.
SS Bjoren is 68.9 feet long and was built in 1867. It has been lengthened two times (approximately 16 feet in total).

FV (Fylkesvei) and not RV (Riksvei) is the correct letters for the country roads. Just think of it at "country road number". Route in part one: Asker - Ørje - Trysil - Røros - Frøya. This video features these two passes. I had to do some hard cuts in order to keep my fellow riders number plate unreadable, but nothing of the experience is really lost. We did some spirited riding on the last part, or bad riding technique, because I did scrape shoes!
