There is a square called "Shinonome no Oka" near 16L, which is a good shooting spot. There are many photographers.

Hmm… 16L is short and taxi-in to Terminal 1 or Cargo Terminal is tricky
True. ATC assigns the landing runway. Anyhow you get to taxi by all the houses of Narita, which never got sold to the airport. Always cool to check them out
Turbulence apparently continued after you were on the ground? Interesting. Deliberate camera shake and deliberate "musical" pollution - not clever choices.
Could have been my inability to hold the camera stable and roughness of the runway...

The approach seemed rather bumpy
It was. This isnt the standard landing runway and is mostly used while encountering strong westerly winds. Due to the terrain surrounding the airport in combination with strong winds makes the approach bumpy

How did you get into the cockpit?
I joined pilot school of swiss in 2011 and have been offered a job after completion. I did all my training with them and had absolutely no previous experience

I was voted most likely to be a airline pilot in school I was never in a big airline until I was 64 years old I loved every minute I told my wife I would like to fly to one place and just fly back to get to ride she said as much as it cost I don’t think so.
