Oil painting fumes omg I painted oils in my bedroom too.. then I found my fiancee and I live with her.. no fumes.. the fumes was making me dumb sorta rotting my brain 🧠.. even when I would shut the bedroom door and sleep on the sofa.. I was in fumes.. I put the paintings in the file 🗄️ cabinet and still fumes.. I can think lots better now I have had a few years away from the bedroom painting fumes omg first hand experience here . Either change to acrylic paint or something.. I don't like acrylic compared to oils.. 🖌️ painting 🎨 at my fiancees I am getting a shed to hold my paintings outside 😁

I struggle with the same problems of "good enough idea". I never see being full time as an artist when I basically refuse to just produce art and projects I know I can do, I only wanna do someting amazing that moves my soul, even better if I can make something that moves someone elses soul, so I can get rid of it and move on to the next idea...

that's ittttttt! I'm literally so tired from taking care of myself, going to my regular job, taking care of my cat, house chores... I know I'm an artist i just wish I had more time to feel like one

Hiya!! I've kind of just stumbled in here, but I must say: Something about your whole "too-cool-for-art-school" vibe resonates with me, so I went ahead and subbed as soon as you said "Sign me...up!" Even though I also love watching @christinakentart, @artofjesskarp and @daisydanyart. I can't help feeling like they belong to an elite continuum of privileged people who can travel to amazing places, experiment indefinitely with materials, styles and subject matter, and go on bold swashbuckling adventures of artistic self-discovery while I, and apparently also YOU, eek out a few minutes here or there to get our ideas down in a much more rustic manner, and mostly without the benefit of persistent, encouraging art teacher voices guiding us. btw, I like your pic of your friend, even though I think your process could benefit from some of the big-brush blending we see from @bobross_thejoyofpainting and some of the initial big-shape blocking we see from @chamberlainpaintings. I would love to see more of what happened before the big reveal @08:49. I hope some of these inspiring artists get a chance to hear where you and I are coming from, as told through your wonderful storytelling voice. In the meantime, I hope you're investing in big oscillating fans and keeping lots of open windows in your studio. I'll be checking out some more of your projects.

I know the difference. You’re real and you’re raw. You dare to break out of that box and define what an artist is for yourself. You’re so cool. Your mind is art and your lifestyle is also. Your art is also so amazing! I’m sure other UA-cam artist especially the big ones have bad ideas, they just don’t film it or talk about it. You my friend, are so brave and free. Not to say that the other UA-cam artist aren’t brave or free. Everyone does what they think is true themselves or best for them. Your videos remind me of these early 2000s shows like Malcolm in the middle, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, S*x in the city vibes. Very vintage coded and honestly I think that’s just you. You exude that relaxed, simple, nostalgic feeling. So good! Keep going because you will find your people. I’m happy I found your channel. I feel so welcomed and safe here. It reminds me of my childhood and I miss it so much so thank you for making that possible. Much love 💛

Every great artist has “bad ideas” and doesn’t execute them right the first time. Think about how many times those artists fucked up before posting what you see. Don’t compare yourself to people on the internet or other people period and don’t stop making art :)
