🐠 favorite May read was Coexistence by Billy-Ray Belcourt and looking forward to Indian Burial Ground by Nick Medina.

Cultish is also a podcast, if you want to follow more of the “cults” (both scary and silly) of modern life. Same with Magical overthinking- haven’t read the book yet, but podcast is good. Montell also has an earlier book called Word Slut that where she examine misogyny and language.

I’m waiting for my library hold for the Peter S. Beagle dragon story - good to hear you enjoyed it! 🐟

💀I am currently reading the Addie La Rue novel, but i swear, i don't get the hype. It's an ok book, but not extraordinary. So I don't think I'll try anything else from her.

I haven't read the "Monster" series. Other than the Middle Grade series, I have found I really don't like Schwab's female characters. I don't understand why to be "strong", you have to be a jerk. I have read the Bridge of Souls series, the Darker Shade of Magic series (which I liked for the other characters, not the female lead) and The Invisible Life of Addie Larue.
