Deer tipped over again after the second shot, transformed to the block, top right dot, best overall block grouping, happy with the deer shot placement as well. I am trying to cognizant of the pressure I'm putting on the string with my face, I may be pushing the arrow out when I release. First arrow at the deer target was probably my best arrow at the target, lung and vitals, second arrow as on top of that one

I just noticed you have your thumb raised up high against the grip. Are you having to for getting the bubble level? Or just a habit? I would think that might create tension in your hand? 👍👍

@ assuming the bubble is in alignment with the sight mount and the riser you shouldn’t need to put any bias in the grip with your thumb in a lower position. Without the thumb in the position you use the bubble should become level by itself at full draw especially on flat ground like you have there.

@ 👍 I got one about a year ago and it’s a great release. I have the one on the strap and it’s set shorter than yours. I like to hook my index finger over into the first joint. This lets me relax my whole hand except the finger. Takes a little practice to do that. I use a little longer d-loop with it because it’s different than when using my thumb release.

Outside slinging arrows is the only way to learn and improve. 👍👍 Not bad for I’m assuming 20 yards? Dead meat on anything anyway. That grouping will take you to 30 easily. Just saying- it appears you aren’t actually punching or slapping the trigger but you’re commanding the break? I don’t want to read like a know it all but I’ve been into archery for over 60 years and learned what can be so helpful to be a better shooter. Your hand isn’t relaxed with those fingers sticking straight out. Causes unnecessary tension. Try relaxing that hand and locking that index finger solid then pulling straight back. Maybe do practice at like 10 feet blank bailing. Put the target up level with your drawn bow and have black paper on the target or cover your scope so you can’t be aiming. The idea of this practice is get get your release execution to be smooth, highly polished AND basically a surprise. I like my finger hooked very deeply over the trigger to the inside joint. Mine is set with zero trigger travel and enough tension so I don’t need to worry or even think it will fire as I set my finger on it. Takes very very little backward travel but quite a bit of energy/ trigger pressure to break the shot. The blank bailing will benefit you more in the long run than target practice in the yard. Just some things I’ve learned that really helped me years ago. Yes, I was a puncher, then tried command shooting and now I never do either- just pull is my favorite way. Keep up with shooting and GOOD Luck!

If you’re shooting as fast as in the video might try resting at least 30 seconds minimum between shots. Let’s the muscles get oxygen. Try relaxing your release hand fingers other than the index. As you get more tired you probably have more tension and stress in the release hand. Let thumb hang naturally too. Another way to work on form and execution is shooting at like 10 feet. Put black construction paper on your target to help eliminate aiming at any spots. Have the target up level with the drawn bow so you aren’t aiming down. This technique removes your brain from the aiming interruption. You just let the bow settle wherever on the target and work on a clean controlled execution. Cover or remove the sight if you want. Try getting your feet, hips and shoulders into alignment with the target so the bow aims naturally without you applying any force. For now it’s about your brain learning a great execution and what it feels like. You can learn to pull through the shot and not commanding it by moving that index. The shot break will be activated only by you pulling straight back using back muscles. I like zero trigger travel with enough trigger tension so I can hook my index deeply over the trigger no fear of it firing. All of this has helped me so much it’s ridiculous. GOOD LUCK!

Any chance that first arrow that hit higher than the others had fletching contact during shot? It appears to sit in the target at a different angle with nock lower than other arrows. If you see a pattern of that happening, number your arrows to determine if a specific arrow doesn't fly the same as the others.
