We got a chance to experience the X Games on it's final year in Texas. The weather was extremely bipolar, it was either beautiful or bad enough to force an evacuation. If I had another chance to go I wouldn't miss it. Thanks to Shonduras for hooking us up with the tickets!

How is this "best of the best" where are the tricks at..?
That was what the cruise called it. These people just happen to be on this cruise. I only posted so they could see it later I never expected so many people to watch it 😄
ive recognized some people here in the senior class when i was a freshman (they were probably freshmen in this video). im a senior now, and its just cool to see how huge the program’s grown especially with the fact that they qualified for state yet again
Oh wow, this is awesome - class of '27 tmhs rbb member.
I would win this lol
These were just random people on the cruise. They were better than me that's for sure. I wish the Six Flags run waterpark near me would let us use their flowrider for surfing and not just boogie boarding so I could practice more often.
You know working on an empire, kind of weird on the water huh, quiet though the way I like ,a lot of issue too hope to be worked out in such a quiet place ,things have changed that plans have been altered sad to say
An I'm the employee right
I'm the employer right,
dang so many legends in this video lmao
Where are the French horns, tuba, and euphonium
Tubas are in there, so are mellophones
The first two minutes of some guy shouting into a microphone should've been cut...
Didn't really expect to get views on this just wanted to capture the whole experience to share with the ones that were in it.
I loved this ❤️😂
THIS WAS AWESOME! Thank you for sharing this! Great idea. Surfing competitions are always so fun especially when they are on a cruise!
Keep head against head rest to avoid the brief dizzy that can happen following the first portion.
That's the fun part and to keep your hands up and scream. The G forces during the double helix are what always get me. Also the reason you can't ride it without going back through the line.
I love this rollercoaster
Some great coasters at this park.
Excellent competition 👌👌👌
I tried this and got a concussion still fun
I watched a video the other day and it looked like many people got concussions!
I worked at a funcoland in east side San Jose California in 99. So much crazy shit would go on in that place. Games would fly off shelves when nobody was in the store, the gaming tv’s would turn on and off and the volumes would go up and down by their selves, the bathroom door in the back office would open and shut loudly. Me, my manager, and the guy that worked in the subway next to our store (he was avid gamer that’d come by hang out with us) heard someone talking in the bathroom in the back right before closing. We thought someone snuck in the back. I always had a knife on me and my manger grabbed one of the box cutters. The subway guy said he’d next to the entrance door and if anything happened, he’d run next store and call the police. We went back to check it out, nothing. We were not tripping cause we all stopped, got quiet, and we knew it was definitely coming from the bathroom. One of the girls I worked with quit cause she told our manger she seen a shadowy figure standing in the doorway of the bathroom After closing hours with two other coworker of ours. They said she literally looked like she seen a ghost. After I heard why she quit, I quit too a couple of days later. Didn’t want to see no shadowy figure too. Was skeptic up until working in that crazy ass place but there was definitely something there
GameStop Ghost Tours ~ coming soon
Forescore and four years ago, I performed with this incredible band as a freshman at Tomball Memorial High School. This show was the beginning of my high school career in music and now, as I look back on it while my graduation from TMHS approaches, I am overcome with joy. The memories I made in this wonderful organization were some of the best I had throughout my high school years, and I truly found a second family here. I will cherish the meaningful, musical connections that we made with the audience under the direction of Mr. Easton forever. And while my future may not entail continuing my playing career, the love and appreciation that I now have for music is something that I will always hold dear to my heart. Thank you, Tomball Memorial's Roarin' Blue Band! Thank you Mr. Easton, Mr. Brown, Ms. Cooper, and Mr. King! Thank you for the laughs and the heartache! Thank you for the friends and the family! Thank you for the memories! I will miss you all!
I hated not being able to post these that year so I just waited till my daughter graduated to do it. I'd love to be able to see one of the performances when I was in marching band but I'm not sure any exists. Hopefully someone's posted some after this year too despite the rules.
I’m a freshman now at tomball memorial! I play trumpet. I wish i was wind symphony but i’m top of symphonic. UA-cam recommended has brought us together
@@douglasbrown9580 one of our snares posted The Day The Music Died 😂
@@Emmisullivan14 what are you talking about 👀
Hey Douglas this is a really cool find! However, my friends and I from the lost media community are currently trying to solve a really old mystery that is connected to FuncoLand! Since you worked for FuncoLand we were wondering if you could answer this question for us. For the FuncoLand mail in lists, do you know where David received his information from? He first started doing the mail in lists September 1989, in particular that list contains a game called Yeah Beebiss, to this day we do not what this game was supposed to be. It also appeared on Play It Again's mail in lists prior to the Funco listing. What we're trying to determine is where Funco and Play It Again got this information, was a third party used to obtain info about upcoming games? I understand if you might not know, but we've been having trouble looking for David, so we thought it wouldn't hurt to ask someone who was part of FuncoLand back in the day. Especially since FuncoLand continued doing the game lists for awhile. Thanks for your time, and sorry for my super lengthy comment.
Look up Andy Mcnamara on Twitter and ask him. He started earlier than me and worked for Game Informer so there's a good chance he might know.
@@douglasbrown9580 will do thanks!
I worked at Funcoland when the Sega Dreamcast first Launched. Quit about a year or two after the Gamestonk takeover. Nightmare to work for GS in comparison.
You might've been like me and ended up under a Babbages/Soft Etc. District Mgr. I barely survived that phase myself it was a tough transition.
That dude is creepy as shit he runs a cult now I'm sure
This is such a cool video!! Mr. Easton was my band director! Like a million years ago!
That's so cool! I currently attend TMHS as a sophomore :)
Fastest chain lift I have ever seen.
that would be a trip if he was wearing a smart watch. lol.
This was the state show, correct?
Yeah just part of it. Must have been early on in the season.
Nice one!
Just for fun?
What is the point of this?
Yes, there were a few songs/activities like this they would do just to have fun in the stands. We weren't allowed to post their half time performances anymore due to copyright issues so I wanted to post something.
@@douglasbrown9580 bummer about the copyright issues!
Who made this video? Did you make it?
Yes I did. Last minute idea, stayed up late that night making it hoping the kids would see it the next day before the state competition. Maybe get some encouragement from it I hoped.
@@douglasbrown9580 woah
I did this once and I nearly fell on my face. It was still fun
I couldn't get enough of doing it during the cruise but I wasn't good enough to go up against these guys.
@@douglasbrown9580 I've never actually done real surfing, but I would really like to.
@@Emmisullivan14 I haven't either, just wakeboarding at a cable park.
@@douglasbrown9580 sounds fun!
WHAT A LEI
I worked the N64, PlayStation and Saturn launches in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I loved my time at FuncoLand.
great video
Mmmm?........
That camera has just went through hell and back lmao
This is rather strange to me. Looks like a fun military school or something XD. I'm not from the us btw...
Do high schools/colleges not have a marching band wherever it is you live?
Douglas Brown marching bands are basically just in america
2:51 I found my baby brother! Awesome job everyone! Practice makes perfect!
Wish the audio was in the vid
@@cheeto8278 agreed! They should definitely post a show
We are not allowed to post a video of our performances anymore as it goes against copyright and can get us in trouble.
I just published everything I had already uploaded in 2017 that was private. My daughter graduated so I'm not worried about sharing these anymore.
Hi, I wanted to use a GoPro on my shako but the problem is, my plume is in the way of the top strap. So I just wanted to know how you did yours. I appreciate the feedback!
I used the gopro quick clip mount and stuck it on the brim of the shako for the flute player. The other ones were on the tuba and drum.
This is great! Love how the presenter became more sarcastic as the monotony of discussing endless amounts of crap accessories wore on. By the time I started in 1998 we just got a printed employee manual with a few pages of tips from this video for buybacks (I still have mine). I've never heard the door on a toaster NES called the garage door before now.
Thanks for making my first year one of the bests
Cool video!! They look pretty good!
OOH 2 WEE Productions Thanks! They definitely put a lot of work into marching season and getting to the state comp is a big deal.
They really are great! I love watching their shows
That's talent! They look sharp too!
disappointing moment in life? Robocop not working on the NES? Wow, what an inspiration to all of us!
this is an awesome little time capsule. Did you hold on to any of your FuncoLand shirts or jackets? They're really cool pieces of gaming history
Mark Hillebrand I have a lot still but I sold my jacket and neon sign last year. Not sure what's harder to believe, that i kept the stuff 20+ yrs or that I sold it after keeping it that long.
Douglas Brown oh man. how much did you get selling those items? I have a FuncoLand Letterman jacket
When I went to list my jacket some dude had his on there for $600. I think I listed mine for half of that and eventually sold it for half of that, so around $150.
Haha yeah I have a lot. Even a neon sign
Lmaooo! This was so awesome, I can't believe I've still never seen one of these in person, but that was hilarious. These t Rex's always crack me up. Just subscribed man keep it up
OneWordWesley - Vlogs, Skits, and Music Thanks! Btw there's a link at the end for the second video we did at a trampoline park.
Douglas Brown no problem man, I always like finding other UA-cam channels and helping support them, ill def have to watch the trampoline video lol
everyone loves a trex costume
They're great aren't they. I have 2 now and my kids love them!
I got to admit I really enjoyed this video man. It look like it was a blast!!
It sure was, well at least when I wasn't about to puke it was quite hot in that suit!
I got chills when the Rattler was at the top lol. Yup, I'm going to head down to San Antonio after watching this!!
OOH 2 WEE Productions We just got back from there. Wish we had a park in Houston but it's not that far to San Antonio or Dallas.
One of many, one of many, one of many. Did anyone actually buy these no name accessories?
KiloByte The original Gameboy was the worst, it had sooo many different accessories!
