That brought back memories of my youth watching this. All I can say, a class act. I liked how Donny stood back because he knew it was all about Merrill, but he was there for support to help Merrill get through his emotions. Like I said, “a class act”. Thanks Merrill for all the years of music and thanks Donny for being there for your brother. As I was watching this today, I heard about the passing of Wayne. My prayers are with you Merrill, Donny and the entire family. May God be with you at this time.

Man this was HARD to watch!! I grew up with the Osmonds. I remember the first time I saw them on the "Andy Williams Show". What a great send off!! An extremely talented family who influenced our musical landscape for years. For those of you who cannot possibly comprehend how magnificent they were/are: cute as boys, handsome as men, they can sing, dance, write music, play musical instruments, and act. Off the top of my head, I cannot think of another musical family who has all of those attributes. The closest family group may be the Jets. Even the Jacksons, who were/are my first loves did not have talent that deep as a family. The Osmonds were/are wholesome, talented and legendary. Merrill was a huge part of their success even though Donny and Marie became more prominent later. For me, Merrill was the glue. He deserves his flowers now. He along with the entire Osmond family has given the world a lifetime of memorable music ❤🎉🙏🏽👏🏽!!!

For one of my first ever concerts, I bought tickets to see the Smothers Brothers. They cancelled, but the Richeous (?) Brothers substituted. All in all, that worked out well. Dionne Warwick headlined

Yep, Ed was pretty great on guitar and his discography includes many songs that tell a story which I like the most. Best non hit song I like of Ed’s is Painted Girls and Wine. I enjoy his delivery and the change ups throughout the recording. Great lyrics and smooth delivery. “After All” is possibly my favorite song of all time. My credentials for opinion on songs includes 10 years as a young country music radio DJ and 19 years as a Professional Mobile DJ helping the white people and Latinos dance with each other in west Texas. Ed Bruce was awesome!

I'm 57 and my older sister raised me on the Osmond's.. I love this. It's great to still be around but I hate seeing everybody get so old. So many are gone now or can't sing anymore. It's great to have the memories. My sister has been gone 9 yrs now and when I hear the Osmond's she's with me.
