The goal of the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) workshop is to give all participating students the chance to tackle real-world issues that call for real-world answers. The difficulty lies in finding solutions for environmental problems like flooding and landslides brought on by prolonged rain.
