This is really good. I think if you fret the 2nd, 3rd, 4th string on the 5th fret (G, C, E; makes the top of a C chord), it sounds a little better than just fretting the G (on the G chord, and do the same on the other 2 chords).

Hi there! I just saw Graham Nash in concert last week and he told the story of this song. He said he was sitting at a dealer‘s house in Hawaii and the guy said to him “So, you’re a rich rock ‘n’ roll singer are you? I bet you $500 bucks you can’t write a song right here and now.” Graham said he replied “Oh yeah?” and wrote the song on the spot. That’s straight from Graham Nash himself! 😅

Switching in between those methods with the third-fret capo really adds some nice flavor to the sound. Very cool of you to bring that up. They might play/feel like one another in their feel but they DO sound different, and that difference can really shake up the shape of the song to make the sound more shapely and unique. Just watching some of your Lead Belly tutorials and I am really enjoying how you've put everything together!

You can play "Dust My Broom" in standard tuning .Just play the B and E strings at the 10th fret. Then you go to the 5th and 7th fret and use your G string
