Yes bumper to wing brackets are pain in the A , if you take wheel house cover of you’ll be fine, you will struggle a bit to fit the bumper because of the headlight brackets and last thing make sure crossmember is adjusted coz you have two screws in lower section of the bumper that fits in . @@parmynarwal thank you , no need to remove bumper , if you need to change bulb ex on right side turn the wheels maximum left and on splash guard you will find a small cover that gives you access to the back of the headlight. Hope it helps !

@@mutza2006 I've just put on charge my second battery, but noticed my big battery has melted in the middle, something have made the big battery to overheat and melt, do you know what could it be, all the light comes on but doesn't start like in your video and my diagnostic can't connect to the ecu, I've managed to connect different diagnostic through the option of " Nissan Leaf 2012" was the only way and 3 fault comes up" Vehicle speed - Permanent " " CAN communication - Permanent " & " Shift position - Permanent ". bought the car from online auction and was advised that is problem with gearbox, but i think its something electric?

@stefipower hi again I believe all 3 errors are because of the battery, get a new battery and scanned again. The errors u mentioned are CAN that’s communication between ECU and other electronic modules (battery can be the cause) vehicle speed that’s transmission sensor also because of the battery and the last one shift position that can be the gearbox

@@stefipower I’m guessing it’s automatic gearbox I suggest to check transmission fluid to it’s a common fault on this model But yeah start with a new battery because it needs lot of power to start de engine and also it will reset everything by disconnecting and connecting new battery. @@Paul-ck5tb the tire trim ? I’m guessing it’s the interior door panel trim you talk about if that’s the case then yes they broke very easy . To fix that you will need new clips which is around 5£ a set of interior panel trim clips . To remove the interior door panel trim you will need a flat screwdriver and Philips one , with the flat one you need to remove the covers where the screws are , one is under interior handle and second in the hole where you grab it to shut door after that it’s just grab and pull towards you . Disconnect window plug and door handle cable and you can remove it completely. If the brackets where clips are damage or broken then use a bit of superglue . If you talked about exterior door moulding then basically is the same process just different clips . Hope this helps Paul

@@JW-cu7jj pfff that’s tricky mate depends of what tipe of headlight you have on ,check the sealant on the edge of the lens if it’s sticky it’s ok if not then you won’t be able to do it . Some headlights have that window sealer on (not sticky) and you will damage the housing , the other ones have the sticky sealer and you can use hot gun to remove the lens. Good luck

@@michalszwed18 that orange plug with green handle is like a big fuse and when you lift the green handle and pull it out disconnects the battery and yes you will need to take it out of the car and keep it in a safe place , preferably in your toolbox so no friend or colleague can play with it or connect back without you knowing .

To remove the headlight you need to remove the headlight bracket and after all the screws from the actually headlight Is a big bracket that is fitted on front under headlight once’s removed the headlight can come out

Hi mate if you need to weld first you need disconnect the 12v battery which is on left side (engine compartment)under the plastic cover and after shut down the vehicle same as in the video but all this needs doing by a qualified technician EV specialist
