I have the feeling most people starting yt to have a source of income and they expect to earn money easily. Then they figure out after a few videos that it is very hard to gain followers and they stop. I think it's very sad because yt should be a plattform to share what you are interested in and have fun rather than thinking about the money. Just saying because I see a lot of dead channels with few followers and videos but they still have so much creative potential :/

Been in Portland 22 years. You are close to a lot of great stuff. I'm also in SE, and would have to say you've got to try Hoda's, Salt and Straw, Hapa Ramen, and E-San Thai. I haven't been doing a ton of wandering during the pandemic, but I get takeout from these places often.

I searched many apartments (studio or 1b) but they are all around or over 1,400. where did you search the apartments? they look so nice and in the budget at the same time!! I’ll have to guess and say you moved from this unit once you received your renewal? Why do I say that? Well what many new renters don’t factor in is that amortized special you received yes , does lower your rent but when it comes to renewing your lease the renew rate goes back to the original price plus the $50 to $150+ increase rate. I always tell my future renters yes the amortized rate is amazing but if you plan is to stay longer than a year be aware the renewal rate. By the way the wall paint …. It is a low voc paint to stay with in the green parameters of the building commitment to the Green PNW Initiative.

I might take a place with no pet rent just on principle alone lol. My pet rent is only $10/month but I think it’s so ridiculous.

Thank you for posting the pricing and the general area of the apartment. I've been apartment hunting and a lot of these places don't provide videos of the studio apartment they have for rent.

Portland native <3 Such cute apartments. I love stepping stone and slappy cakes for breakfast. Urban farmer and Luc Lac are a must for lunch. There is good coffee everywhere but I prefer stump town, dutch, or Avas if I'm in a rush.

Between psycho commissioners ,ANTIFA rioting and burning businesses and homeless people everywhere this city offers the lowest quality of life besides maybe Detroit.Do your research...just come walk around before you ever move here. I live here and am going to move as soon as I can afford it.

I can’t understand why you fold your clothes into such small folds which leave wrinkles in everything. Also you have things such as short sleeves and long in the same pile and a skirt and blouse that should be hung up. Maybe separating the piles into better sorting will inspire you to wear more outfits.
