Hello thanks for your time. The fanatec doesn’t really tell you what Nm you are running. But I run it at 53 percent inside the fanatec software. I think I am at around 10 ish NM with that. When I started I was super keen to have the wheel very heavy but over time it doesn’t feel realistic and eventually I went down and down till i felt it was what I would expect. Sorry I couldn’t be more specific

@OnlyFoolsGaming could I ask what you have on the outside where the holes for air intake and exhaust are cut?

@@davesykes333 on the outside of both I have a small mesh vent cover stuff. Kinda like a screen door material. Both of my fans/exhaust are cut flush with outside. Then this stuff is just pinned in place over the top to stop the insects. Is that what you were asking? amzn.to/3WKAhio

@@davesykes333 I also took 2 of these and bonded them together to create a L shape. These then drop over the top and the back third of my pc where my extraction fans are. I then put a small 12v inline fan into some guttering downpipe and bought the relevant bends and stuff that I needed to pipe it outside. So the switch you see me use in the video turns the fan on in the pipe and then starts actually sucking the air from the pc outside. @@jakegoodman93 thanks for watching 🤙 the fan is an arduino based wind sim system that I don’t use for wind sim I just use it mapped to the button instead.

@@OnlyFoolsGaminglast question, how did you build the enclosure around the button box?

@@jakegoodman93 this is just 2 pieces of sheet plastic that’s quite thick. They are built onto a Batton timber frame in an L shape with some funky angles and the just trimmed in foam and suede. It is then sat and screwed to the timber ‘centre console’ which in turn is bolted to the rig. So it’s just the ‘2 sides’ of a box reallly.

I don’t have a specific iRacing set for the stream deck I just made some hotkeys for a few of the essentials and I use the exact same setup between ACC and iRacing. Just changed the hotkey for each sim. I didn’t know there was an ACC one available but I will be keen to have a look for it now. Is it in the plugins section? I am happy to share what I have but it might work a bit weird cause I have 2 stream decks and some buttons switch profiles on both 😎🤙

@ Hey man, yes it is a plugin file. It is super late here, so tomorrow I will message you the ACC one. It is great. Has everything you would ever need. I just have not found a similar version for iRacing.

@@pawieplays leave it with me and I will measure it today and reply asap. What I do know is I run my angles quite tight at 56 degrees simply because I wanted some space for my chair gaming. However I feel your pain. Mine are literally on the ragged edge and only just, JUST about hide the bezels fully. As you can see I don’t use the actual clamps for the kit. Because, if I remember correctly, they didn’t hold the kit close enough to the screen to hide the bezels. I ditched the clamps and put the kit touching the screens themselves and this got my desired effect. Used some ultra clear gorilla tape to secure them in place. I don’t think you will get it with the clamps. I could be misremembering this part though. What I do know is the clamps just didn’t work with my roof. So I was forced to not use them. It was a struggle to get them perfect.

@@pawieplays the width of the monitors across the back is 1020mm. The width of the actual rig that goes behind them is 1250 mm.

@@OnlyFoolsGaming Mate thank you so much! So the angle would be 53~56 for the bezel free kit to work. I have my monitor angle as 70. Thanks for the tip on the clear tape, that is a great idea.

It’s expensive but I had read reviews and it is perfect. And yes the buttons do work and change the parameters that you see on screen. Hey dude thanks for the kudos mate. You scenario is similar to mine. I has the quest 3 and loves it but just couldn’t have the weight on my head for hours on end. I am open to any suggestions that again me performance. I am fairly new to Ferrari. I have driven bmw mostly and I think it has a little more torque so my shifts may be off a bit. By the time I get to vale the rears are just so hot it feels like it’s lighting up so much. But I will try and implement changes to get better for sure.
