Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola spoke to the media following his side’s 2-2 Sunday evening draw with Arsenal in the Premier League.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring for the hosts in the ninth minute, before midfielder Rodri was forced off with a knee injury just 12 minutes later.
First-half goals from defenders Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel put the ‘Gunners’ 2-1 up before half-time, but their momentum was halted soon after as Leandro Trossard was given a second yellow card for delaying the restart of play.
Arsenal looked to have held out for a draw until the 98th minute when John Stones fired home an equaliser amidst a scramble in the Arsenal penalty area.
The result means that Guardiola’s side remain top of the Premier League table, one point clear of Liverpool in second place.
