Lived there for 17yrs. To many homeless people and pan handlers. Seems like everyone had there kids on some kind of drugs because everyone thought something was wrong with there kids. I think everyone but me was on disability. To many Waterbugs here in ohio we call them roaches. Bedbugs everywhere. I was happy to move back to southern ohio.

And regarding bugs don’t forget the giant flying roaches everywhere! Plus hillbilly country folk🤢😵‍💫😖😣😠🤕😳

Read about the pretty severe flooding that is associated with tropical systems that hit the area. Recognizing that these are probably coastal plains, do most people have to purchase flood insurance or are there ample non-flood zones available for housing?

Big downside of the area is little to no good high schools. At least by the ratings, they are very disconcerting. Thank You for putting Work into the content.

Cool video! However I would not say the new developments in Leland are less expensive than Wilmington. If you look at the last phase of the lots in Compass Pointe, the lots are close to $300,000…build an $800,000 home and you’re over a million. I’m sure there are cheaper places but…

I noticed a lot of people are exaggerating cost of living in Wilmington NC I lived there all my life and left mid 2022 to work in New York City and Boston at least ur video is very accurate

"they told me it was daft to build a castle in the swamp, but i built it all the same! that one sank into the swamp. so i built another! that one burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp! so i built a third! and thats the castle your going to get laddy!" watch.
