In this video I try to figure out what the future of this channel should be. I am conflicted about whether or not I need to have a specific niche or if I should just make any and all types of videos on this channel. It's mainly just a rant and I am not sure why I decided to create this video and I have no clue if this is even going to reach more than two people, but hey we gotta start somewhere...

A video I made awhile ago in Nashville. Our goal was to capture the hustle and bustle of a regular weekend night at Nashville. However, while walking through the streets at night, surrounded by lights and the noise I felt a sense of calm and I wanted to portray that in this video. Hopefully I was able to do that. Let me know what you think in the comments below! This entire video was shot on th...

I would say focus all your energy on one channel with different niche playlists , if you have too many channels the likelihood is they will not grow as fast , also focusing on 1 channel gives the channel 100 percent of your time and energy as opposed to divided energy. ❤
Great work!
Thank you so much!

in my opinon, you should get a catchy name for example "Victor Reviews" and find content that you think people will enjoy! if you wanna also do like film making and other stuff! or just do what ever you wanna do! i heard in the video you wanna do alot of stuff with tech! so you could do like "Victors Tech reviews" I really hope this helps!

Hey man, finding a niche is a very personal journey if you ask me. Keep it narrow at first (like really narrow). A good tool is SEMRUSH. You can see what people are looking for and what is going largely unfulfilled. It might help you find a powerful niche that noone else could ever give you. It's a process of discovery, or something like that. Good luck.
I am a UA-camr, but this is an alt on a different device. All you have to do is consistently post about one topic (don’t switch your niche randomly) and you’ll start to gain views.
When you have one niche, the UA-cam Algoritham will over time recognise the right audience for your videos. And i think that you could do Tech and car rewiews on one channel, since i think cars are sort of related to technology. Not every video is for everyone, and they appeal to only certain types of ppl, and so, its okay if some people dont want to watch tech or car videos cause theyre not interested in that. But some other ppl will be. Hope this helps
Hey, thanks for leaving a comment! I do think you have a point about some videos being for some and some for others. I think it will be fun trying to navigate the niche of blending tech, cars and film making. I'll keep everyone posted!
no clue good luck
@Mikael9781 thanks! Haha hope to figure it out.
Do we need to adjust ISO …Aperture and shutter separately after doing this ?
You want to keep your shutter speed double of whatever frame rate you are shooting on. And yes to expose your image how you want you can change your iso and aperture. However, keeping your iso at your cameras native base iso will yield the best results! You can also start looking into ND filters which is an external way to manipulate your exposure. Hope this helps!
❤nice
s-I 4k is not the best quality whatsoever. It's a codec meant for easily editable footage since it is minimally compressed, resulting in the file size being HUGE. it's good for rain shots, and very fast moving videography.
Does anyone ever do fund raisers or stuff like that to raise money for clean up?
As a student at Birmingham Theological Seminary & one who loves evangelism, I love this 🙌🏾!
Sutter 1/48 why ? 😂
@@romali6717 180 degree rule. Since the frame rate is set to 24fps.
@victorroyclicks this is a stupid rule 😂
In real, if donthave gear support like matte box etc, you can readjust
All good advice except you're missing out by not using Cine EI. It locks the ISO at the best low (800) or the high ISO (12,800) settings for the absolute best low noise performance. Using any other ISO (that variable ISO allows you to do) will not be as clean. Cine EI uses S-Gamut3.Cine/S-log3, so your files are in the same familiar and flexible LOG format. Load in your preferred LUT and adjust your aperture, ND filter or lights and view the built in or an external monitor with confidence that your recorded files are going to be correctly exposed for what you prefer on the monitor.
Cine EI is great but not for the type of run and gun work I do. Sometimes I have to be outside of the base isos
I don’t have log shooting setting :(
@@isaiayuh on your fx3?
In the settings when you have log shooting selected, you can choose to apply a lut like 709, 709(800%) etc etc Is that just a preview and doesn’t affect the footage coming out? Or does it actually bake it into the image and the final image already has 709 applied to it and isn’t just pure SLOG ?
@@JAMMzMHW as far as I am aware you are probably looking at the option of displaying the lut meaning it isn’t getting baked into the image. However, I haven’t updated my fx3 to the latest software version so they might have added a feature where you can bake in your luts. Best way to figure that out would be to just play around with it and check it out during post work.
great tips .. i just changed the shutter record button. I kept hitting that when i wanted to record video.
Thanks man! Glad it helped!
Very informative thanks
@@jimmybiajo3142 thank you!
Whats wrong with other bit rates?
There isn’t anything wrong with them. The smaller bit rates aren’t great for post work as they lack data compared to higher hit rates. But the smaller bit rates are great when you are short on storage and need to record for a longer time. However at that point I would suggest dropping in resolution versus dropping the bit rate. I hope this made sense…

What makes the difference when shooting with flexible iso vs log shooting off
@@Donotcareabyouropinion flexible iso and log shooting are two different variables so you can’t really compare them. You can think of log as a picture profile in which the camera retains a lot of information and flatten the image so that you can later manipulate it in post. Flexible iso is a mode in which the cameras allows you to manipulate light within the image in camera beyond the two native ISOs. I like shooting with flexible iso because of the type of work I do aka fast paced stuff so I don’t have the luxury of time to keep adding or taking ND filters off to shoot only in the two native ISOs. Sorry if non of that made sense 😅
Priz??

Hi , nice information, I am doing video on A7Cii with 2470 gmii, want to get fx3 for standalone video purposes, will it really make difference in comparison with A7Cii ?
It really depends on what type of videos you create. Based on my research the A7cii has all the fundamentals down well. 10 bit 4:22, slog3, good dynamic range and good old Sony software. So unless you feel like you need more dynamic range and have noticed jello in motion then there is no need. In my opinion. I would say focus on investing in good lighting/modifiers and audio.
Beautiful shots!
Thank you!
Amazing work! What mic did you use great audio!

FX3 deffo best investment I’ve made coming from Sony A7III, you’re about the increase level of production quality its 2024 and still one of the best cameras going.
