I don’t think i will be stopping for characters on my run but i would like to video them. What type of camera do you use while running? There is no bouncing. It’s wonderful.
Sorry for replying so late. We don’t stop for many characters either. But for rare ones we do. We use the osmo pocket 3 to take our videos. If that is out of your price range. Don’t worry, there are cheaper gimbal devices that will work just as well. GoPro is a good alternative.

I will be at the Marathon weekend in Jan (my second marathon. My first was 23 years ago), Springtime in April (doing my first Disney challenge) and i just signed up for Disneyland Halloween half Marathon. Is there anything special i need to do to get the Coast to Coast metal?
Wow, it sounds like you have an incredible year of races planned-congratulations! For the Coast to Coast medal, you’ll need to complete a race of a half-marathon at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland within the same calendar year. Since you’re doing the Marathon in January and the Disneyland Half Marathon in October, you should qualify! Be sure to check your registration for both events to ensure you’re signed up for eligible races and ensure to talk to race relations during bid pick up in Oct for your C2C challenge. Run Disney usually tracks this automatically, but it doesn’t hurt to double-check your account closer to race day. Good luck with your marathon in January-what an amazing comeback after 23 years! Let us know how all your races go!

Great question! The picture opportunities during runDisney events usually feature Disney characters, often themed to the specific race. You’ll see everything from classic characters like Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy to rare or unique characters that match the race’s theme. It’s a great chance to meet characters you might not see in the parks regularly, making the event extra special!
The park and boardwalk look so good in the dark! The quality of the video in the dark looks terrific!

Thanks for tuning in during your treadmill run! It’s always great to have you along. You’re absolutely right-the 5K seemed to have more runners compared to the start of the 10K. As for the new corral system, we found it pretty interesting! It did help manage the flow a bit better, but we’ll share more thoughts about it in an upcoming video. The bracelets are new. The first one I bought broke after I wore it for the 5k. I heard that that was a common issue with them. I think we liked the new line of RunDisney general merchandise more than the weekend specific stuff. Thank you for watching, and it’s great to hear from you!
