You got some great books! For books that I'm interested in buying, I always go to UA-cam first before buying them. Listen to the read alouds and look at the pictures to see if the book is worth it or not.

UFLI is amazing! I started late last year with 2nd graders and they really got solid skills that were lacking from COVID times. Now I am in Kinder and plan to use it but incorporate more hands on and music, which is so easy!!! UFLI has so many free resources and prepped easy to follow lessons. Have fun, your room is looking good girl!

I used UFLI last year! My best advice is make use of the free materials on the website, including the slides they provide! Makes prep super easy. But my kids loved UFLI!

Be careful with push pins, especially in a K class. When I was in gr. 1 I stepped on one that had fallen off the wall and it went through the sole of my shoe into my foot. It both injured me pretty badly and destroyed my favourite shoes by putting a hole in it.

One last thing , I would ask about the differsur because some kids and adults can get headaches from the scented smells.

You could put a mirror on that back wall and put up how do you feel today faces. and do you have a calm down corner?

Remember with Kinders the more things you have out then they have the less chances of running around the classroom except for on your rug. Otherwise I love it. I love that wall paper.

I use and love UFLI!! I teach kinder also and once you get the routine of it it’s amazing! Kids love it also (I think because it’s a very structured routine) and would ask for it. I was amazed at what my kids were able to do by the end of the year compared to other years 🎉

I am trying UFLI in phonics in first grade this year too. I've heard a lot of great things about it. Your room is looking so good!
