During my time in the 80/90's I visited most of the South African Bantustans. But I never saw the work, or the dedication into making a community to work like I see in Orania. These white people (don't get hung up on the 'white' bit) are some of the decedents of the people who forge South Africa into a country producing more food than the rest of Africa put together. ( I am talking about the peak times of the South African farming). Well done Orania.

The only reason the ANC and the rest have a issue with a small town like Orania is the very fact that it will show all the failures as African leaders who've been in power for 25 odd years in Southern Africa . The small little town in the middle of know where which has its own Currency . Health facilities, businesses, water, housing etc. This is a clear image to how a small minority of people can live in a safe and beautiful place without interference from criminal and political vultures who seek to destroy a once so powerful southern African country.
