1962 Nor'easter Wildwoods and Cape May

During and after the 1962 Nor Easter my father Tom Benner filmed the effects on the storm on his 8mm. This shows Wildwood Crest during the storm, Cape May and West Wildwood after the storm.
Thank you to whoever created this footage it's heartbreaking to see one of my favorite places in ruins.

I was 15 when this storm hit. We had a family home back in West Wildwood. The house made it through the storm and is still standing today. We lost our beloved casino in that storm. Enjoyed seeing this video.

It looks worse than the October 2012 Sandy Hurricane and Noreaster

I was 9 years old when this hit wildwood. I remember stuff floating down the street from the boardwalk, water everywhere, and no school!
