TobySinclairAI - The chatbot that acts like a coach!
Artificial Intelligence will replace all coaches. I disagree. Whilst this statement grabs the headlines, it's far from reality. I believe that AI coaches will be a vital development aid for coaches and clients. An AI coach is a great complimentary service alongside more traditional coaching packages. You can stand out from the crowd by cloning your coaching today.

    Hi Toby, I agree that it is a good way to apply AI. Human therapists are of course human and can read body language and have much experience (this is a limitation of AI). From the other side, AI has access to all resources from 1000 top therapists all at a time (I don't think also to UA-cam videos of them, though) and that seems very powerful to me.

    Thanks for this Toby it was clear and concise. You did laugh when you spoke about needing someone to talk to, there perhaps is the elephant in the room, except you did talk about it Toby.👍🏻 Only to discover that perhaps you were prompted by this A.I. to bring up the subject… very interesting and thought provoking! Nice! It's a cool idea to make videos about this. I'm curious if you think AI like ChatGPT will help Life Coaches or hurt them. Will it push coaching more forward into culture or set it back?

      I think of AI as a complimentary tool rather than a replacement. Like a more advanced version of coaching cards. What do you think the future holds?

    • @GrahamLaight
      @GrahamLaight Рік тому

      Life coaches will be fine for now. The better AI gets at life coaching, the more people will use them. Quick guess: life coaches will be "good enough" in about 10 years. I actually think that, right now, I could hand code a life coaching application that would be better than ChatGPT. Btw - asking questions empathetically is not enough IMO: sometimes, the client is missing a key piece of knowledge (a "blind spot"), and telling them will be enormously beneficial.

    I think that to truly listen also means to be prepared for big surprises with every sentence that is going to be said. Those surprises can be small and nice, but also very influential, in extreme cases they can even try to switch our worldview 180º around if we are really listening and are open. That can be quite uncomfortable, disorienting or costly and I guess that's one of the reasons why people often do not really listen (and think about what has been said). Cheers, Ness-man

    Hey Toby - thanks for making the canvas - it’s saved me a bunch! I’m Guna shoot a video about it soon also and will link back to your site. I often find that it’s more juicy for me when I start with ‘who’ or the participants as this frames a lot of the decisions on the rest of the canvas.

    • @tobysinclair_
      @tobysinclair_ 3 роки тому

      Thanks for comment Serj. I'm glad you found this helpful. Interesting point about the 'who'. When I'm working with stakeholders on workshops I often find the initial set of participants incomplete. Stakeholders often pick the participants before understanding the purpose. By first focusing on the purpose you can then better answer "In order for us to achieve the outcome, who do we need at the workshop?" Or even more interesting, "Who do we NOT want at the workshop?" I look forward to your video!

    • @serjsolarpunk
      @serjsolarpunk 3 роки тому

      @@tobysinclair_ Super valid point about guiding who should or shouldn't be there. I guess I'm often handed a brief and the participants list then told to design a workshop for them with a loose purpose.
