Last year, I bought my first adenium obesum (pink flower) at East Park mall in Lusaka. It grew very well for the past year, flowering most of the year. I'll probably have to repot soon as the side branches are starting to get top heavy and drooping down, still flowering. I maybe even have to prune it, hence me searching on when and how to prune. Rainy season hasn't brought us much rain yet, and it's still very hot. I bought another, a varigated two different colour flowers, last week from the same lady. Thank you for this video.

Generally, the majority of temperate trees will not grow and prosper here in Zambia due to our long dry season, mild temperatures which usually are not cold enough to induce flowering and hungry termites which seemingly love exotic species that never evolved to deal with termites.

This is great! Not sure if you're doing this as well, but SUPER important to make sure the land is absorbing water so things can grow. If you can, highly recommend encouraging people to dig zai pits or "african smiles", and to plant the trees around the holes (not in them). Keep up the great work!
