Researchers have made some progress using brain imaging and AI, but the results are rudimentary and far from capturing dreams with full accuracy.       Actually, while it's true that light doesn't have mass, it does carry momentum. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, momentum is related to energy, and light, which has energy, also has momentum. This momentum can indeed exert a force when it interacts with matter, which is how solar sails in space can propel spacecraft by harnessing the momentum of sunlight. So even though light itself doesn't have mass, it can still move objects with mass through the transfer of momentum.

In my opinion, photonics can really revolutionize both healthcare and farming in the very near future as I explained in my videos. But to deeply understand photonics, usually people start his or her career with physics or engineering. it depends on what you eventually want to do.
