@@BuddaDrifts I just built the box today with a good friend of mine who is a very renouned carpenter. It’s tuned perfectly to the specs of the subs and it’s the exact cubic ft needed. I don’t know what else I could need haha

Amp is tuned correctly and head unit is a stock unit with an input converter

@calinsteele kk there it is probably what converter is it if it's not a audio control lc2i pro it doesn't reproduce lows it's a controler that emmits accubass and allowes restoration from 20 hz to 20khz so run one of those and play a 40 hz test tone on the converter with the amps disconnected then turn it up until the light turns on then back off sorry for explaining u probably know but get an lc2ipro and lemme know how it is for u also subsonic on amp should be off

@David-ua7pyro yes lol the glorified volt meter i had it just to see volts easier and for the songs I play that have very quick sharp notes so it doesn't shut the amp off other than that I'm 14.4 charge and 13.0 volts when playing I've improved it a lot now lol

@calebgraves487 it's ported lol I built the box myself it's 3.8 cubic feet with a rear slot port tuned to 31 hz it comes out the side I'm gonna build a new box soon around 4.5 cubes with a front slot tuned to 28 hz the fs of the subs 😀 😉

I'm 30something and barely learned about matching ohms with stereo.. I just looked at the wattage. But what does it mean to tune your speaker box to a certain amount of hurts?

@1JesusChrist1 so tuning your box different ways is just made for people to change how a sub reacts and sounds in a vehicle the only hz people tune they're boxes two are between 28 and 45 hz this is also depending on the music u play and the subwoofer that u have if it's cheaper like 100 dollers and below and it's small or looks week about 300 rms or 500 rms aim for a tuning around 40hz because it will like higher notes but if your subs looks a little more beefy and you like to play rap music or hiphop stuff tune lower not to low unless ... u play bass modified or rebassed music with hz range of 25 thru 50 hz the lower you tune your box let's say 32 hz when your sub plays 32 hz about your sub will move it's least and the box will have the most output but box tuning can be in depth to make it as simple as possible if your box is tuned to 32 hz your box has better bandwidth and loudness at lower frequencys but your higher notes will be worse around 60 hz if u like Latino music if u tune to 28 hz about then you will be able to play the subs very deep and shake everything but you loose a little highs again now your subs will be happiest at 25 hz to 45 hz and will be loud but if u want very much loud don't care about sound quality bandwidth range exetera then tuning higher like 35 or 40 will just be loud and punchy but the higher u tune the box the easier it is to loose lows like if your tuned to 40 hz you quickly loose bass below 40 but if at 32 hz u get a good amount of all of it box size matters two along with port again the bigger the box like 2.5 thru 5 cubes u get low a dirty bass along with a lower tuned port but if u have 2 12vs and a 2 cube box then tune higher like 35 to 38 and it will be mint but mind u the smaller the box that more air pressure inside aka less power because the air inside is pushing on the sub giving box rise and resistance to push anyways that's my best explanation lol

@1JesusChrist1 tuning subs ohm is just. A resistance if your amp can souport 1 ohms that means it puts out most power at 1 ohm so if u have 2 12vs with dual 4 ohm voice coils you have on just one 12 sub on the right a terminal that I'd 4 ohm and on the left. That is 4 ohm speekers are just devision If u wire red to red and black to black on one subwoofer on both side u get final of 2 ohm sing 4 devided by 2 groups is 2 then if u do the same to another subwoofer and then connect them the other sub is 2 ohm and the first sub I 2 and 2 decided by 2 groups is 1 but if u have more than two dual 4 subs then u may consider series wiring to not lower but raise so u don't blow and amp

@605caraudio yes sir lol I've already swapped them tiny wires and battery if u look at my recent videos I have a ultra cap and 0 guage wires everything cleaned up and I'm gonna be soon adding a agm added to the cap

They're both in polarity and wired to 0.8 ohm on a 1500 watt stinger mt amp and I drop volts to 11 so doing math I'm clamped 1k watts to both and they take 1k each adleasg

Power rlly don’t matter, it’s almost all subwoofer sensitivity related to power you’re throwing at em. And den box of course. I gotta single sundown ZV4 in a custom box on 3k and it hits harder then my buddies 2 10” skars on 5k

​@@BuddaDrifts You're not clamping 1000w on a 1000w amp bud, and I know this for a fact since you haven't put it on a TermLab or any other meter. Haven't you ever heard of impedance rise? You're maybe putting out 500wRMS on that amp.

yo yooooo lol sup i do got it ported i made it 3.4 cubes and its a slot port out the back tuned to 31 hz ive done many test facing it different ways and this car likes this box and subs faced twards us we get more spl less pressure in the back and it comes to us more ive metered it and heard it both ways i like it facing this way lol ... my experience with boxes and subs is if your using sealed or ported no matter what have seats down if possable and for sealed louder is for sure facing the trunk for sureeee but ported is a different story you should try it its louder facing us lol nice looking out
