try removing the image as i done that when i had issue and it worked that was like 8 moths ago so might be new issue

that suspension is going to have problems. i've fought with using the suspension/wheel pushing down on an arm soooooo much and i've never made it consistent. you'll have issues with the wheel clipping through the beam and you'll never be able to resolve them. its why im so interested in the suspension you showed two videos ago with rotor heads connected to suspensions, im wondering if you've run into any issues with that system if you're resorting to the supension/wheel/arm one?

I'm using hinges instead of rotors for a double-walking-beam suspension. There are four main bogies on the frame. Each bogie branches to two smaller smaller bogies, each consisting of two side-by-side walking beams with two wheels each. Thus each main bogie branches down to eight wheels, for a total of 32. It's a monster. Even with the double-beam design, though, there are still situations where some wheels aren't in contact with the ground, so it needs more work. Also, if you let it go too fast in very rough terrain wheels start falling off.

Really diggin the series so far! Curious about what the song is you used for the timelapse cause I actually really like it. Sounds a little bit like Revis or one of 10 Years' less heavy songs.

Its really coming on now, I cant wait to see how it turns out. I've just started working on the interior of a ship I've been working on. Normally this is where I get stuck but I think I have just been hit by inspiration for the interior, partly due to something you said. Thank you for the inspiration!

I watch you for the suspensions and the bigger builds you do, they're beyond my ability to build, but i understand how they work, somehow.

Sorry to hear, hope you do take it easy and have fun making the videos as anyone should. I personally have been inspired by your suspension designs, enough to try my own take on it. Notable to my findings is a small grid version, while perfectly working, suffers from being just too small. Even with 7x7 wheels I can't get decent clearance off the ground for rough terrain. Also forgetting to disable the suspension units being used as springs and then engaging parking is disasterous upon reloading :p

18:27, a fantastic example of body roll. In autmotive suspension, there is a specific component added to mitigate that, the pan hard bar, without it you basically get this same affect although likely not as exaggerated.

you were really close to a perfekt solution with only a subgrind controll "mod".... really close :D i managed it to make it... its gigantic... but it works and you can go 80m/s on ground with it

I always end up being a Pirate late game. So I have so much I get bored and quit, it only takes like 6 hours to get to that point now.... Encounter mods extended that by a bit but now I'm so used to being Destroyed early game I optimized and it just make me advance faster now... The enemies just fuel my resource collection. If I was to remove the build and repair mod It would take longer, but running back and forth from storage to build something is just boring af.

You need to design a drive wheel that is gear like that fits into gaps in the track to drive the track better to over come the friction issue.

Skill issue

There is some condiction where your steam account cant upload anything at all.

Did you try to upload something else ? Just to make sure it aint the upload service that might be down

Check the log files in the space engineers folder after you receive the error. See if it gives you any more info

Maybe it is temporary to your region. It says error accessing service. Send a STEAM ticket.

So you are saying it is just that BP or all BP’s? So everything else works, the other blueprints? If so, delete that BP, and then create another. You could also try just selecting Base instead of other. Have you tried re-verifying the SE files? You aren’t clear if it is just that BP or if it all. If it is all, put in a STEAM ticket, since it is a STEAM error.

just a heads up the playlist for this series is backwards for some reason other than this episode which is in the correct position, not sure how easy/hard it is to fix this but thought you should know. i havent watched the series yet but figured you would be more likely to see a comment on the newest episode so here i am, now i shall return to ep1 and binge the series lol

You’re making it overweight and too close to give it time to adjust.

Also I am seeing people make the missiles I found that if you can see an enemy, just the ship, not close enough to see the circle, distance and name of the ship, you can still hit it with a missile. You just point it in the direction and fire, it will travel straight ahead because it doesn’t have a target but when it gets within 2.5k, it will detect and home in on the target. So its range is only limited by its power, or fuel source capacity.

Make a super big rover that carries all of your other rovers. It's a Nomadic Survival. It's not a homestead survival. Then you must drive said rover from that base there all the way around back to that base

At 8:30min you missile dont fly because you adjust manuel Thrust to the bottum Thruster, the Ai Movement block cant understand this. You need to deaktivate manuel thrust and add another thruster only for manuel thrust. The Ai Block can only use Thruster when they in standart mode.. sry my english is medium

My friend, have you heard of Gauge's Grid Garage? You could store all those grids so they are safe and don't bog down the world just from existing. You're using subgrids so I know for a fact it will help stabilize your sim speed (and keep your room temps down lol)

at 12:43 how did you attach the connector to the suspension, i have tried and tried and try as i might, it wont allow me to place it.

Upwards facing thrusters can allow youu to push down against cliff faces and drive straight up walls. Spiderman rovers are a thing. I've driven on hangar ceilings on earth

Ever tried a hovercraft? Not with jets, but by placing the wheels vertically with the flat side down. By placing rotors on arms you can make a sort of suspension or spider-like appearance too. Set friction to 0% for a gliding effect, real fun!
