    That Newholland will lift more and also will lift higher,the two most important features. If I had the chance I’d trade my L3901 for NewHolland any day.

      And what model at NH were you looking at? Kubota has a few different models in this HP class that have more features and the reliability of the Kubota product is truly second to none.

    3:12 the blade is a 2 piece B O E, AB Backbrace all the way to the left, with beefy blade arms and 2 piece dozer cylinder hoses on the U35-4. The Bobcat E35, and Caterpillar 303.5 are both only single blades, and the caterpillar has only a minimum backbrace. You can also feel confident that the U35-4's double-flange cover track rollers will perform in almost any terrain. The Bobcat E35, and Caterpillar 303.5 are both only single flange rollers.

      This smaller unit is more for property owners that aren't doing this commercially, just gives people options. We definitely sell more of the SVL97 with a BH074 Fecon mulch head.

    Like to see your stand on mowers, and great job showing and telling. Yes I’ve been thinking to go with a stand on , hair oldest son buys a stand on from y’all. And I am thinking to go with a stand on, I have never had a zero turn mower. But I have tried the set down zero turn for a 4 or 5 minutes first one a cub cadet then dads toro then bad boy. But never a stand on I like working my legs much has I can,so show some good deals on them stand on mowers. I need a change from riding on mowers that you set on cause I feel tired more setting,so fix me up on a stand on.well thanks again for showing telling and we will see you next time have a great day see ya bye.

    I have a zd1211 and its a monster!! However kubota does not offer a high lift blades for the zd1211. The factory blades that come with the zd1211 are terrible.

    I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

    • @edmontonkubota
      @edmontonkubota Рік тому

      Hi Carl. Are the stripes happening when turning a corner? If so that will happen when the grass is long and it doesn't have time to lift again before the mower goes over it. If its backfiring lots i would recommend taking it to a dealer to check out.

    Not much of an upgrade from my Z127S I bought around 2013. This design does suck for our country property. It is very rough even with the suspension seat. The low profile tires don't help. My next mower I will most likely go with one with actual suspension. Overall the mower has been reliable. Did have the starter motor bend its shaft, one pully replaced, one belt, two front tires, and a part of the deck lift stress fractured and snapped and I had to weld it back together. Also the deck wheels should be supported by both sides because the mount there bends over time. The rest was maintenance. Still on the original battery (battery tender over winter). Pretty tough mower overall and handles our 5 acres.

    These 400 series mowers have pros and cons. They are probably not what you want for commercial mowing…just not heavy duty enough. I use mine that way, but only part time. The frame flexes, the mower deck gauge wheels are not well supported and will bend and wear out; the Kawasaki FS engines are OK but don’t have a great air filtration system; the seat looks nice but has zero suspension without the added option. On the positive side, it’s relatively quick for a low end transaxle, and the deck and parking brake operation is great. The phone holder works well. The “low profile” tires do better on side hills, combined with the fuel tank below the seat. The sight glass fuel gauge isn’t ideal but better than nothing. The blades are durable, but the spindles are not. I’ve replaced two bearings already with only 350 hours on the machine. Cut quality is good, but the high lift style blades generate a ton of dust. The deck height adjustment system is terrible, just like on the small Kubota tractors with belly mowers. The knob steps easily get clogged with debris and it won’t turn. So I like it? Yes, and it’s worth considering that it’s half the money of a full commercial unit. See Z700 series for an upgrade although it looks like they have the same chassis.

    • @edmontonkubota
      @edmontonkubota Рік тому

      We call these "Light Commercial" so yes there are more options for more commercial units that are designed to run all day, everyday. Of course the price takes a big jump moving to one of those. We have had a lot of success selling these to both commercial and non-commercial clients with consideration for type of use and hours.

    First thing I did is remove the shute spring and attach a cord to flip it up to get past tight places. Second, the deck had a harmonic vibration. The belt tensioner setup has too much play. It wobbles up and down and made a hell of a racket. I removed the pivot bush and filed a bee's width off it's height. Lubricated the pivot and bolted down. Now it's firmer, but still moves but only in direction it should and alot less noise and vibration.

    I've put lots of hours on the zg227, it's built like a tank , has a awesome cut also. The Kubota engine is very smooth and powerful. I recommend synthetic oil ,10w40 if you live up north or 20w50 if you're in the south (that's what Kawasaki and Kohler both recommend). I think there's 5 grease fittings on the deck and a couple on the driveshaft. Blow the air filter out or replace it ,at lease once a year. Mowers are over priced to begin with , so you wanna make sure the one you buy will last a very long time,this mower will do it.

      I worked at Kubota dealership up till about 3 years ago We’d delivered brand new zero turns hydro belt would come off . Couldn’t find why we had a handful 6-10 mowers Kubota would say haven’t seen that problem before? Then about a month later there would be a service bulletin on the issue just like cub cadet they wouldn’t tell you they’re having problems. About 4 years ago we had all kind of problems with the zero turns under warranty the homeowner zero turns were terrible!
