the 45 angle at the hem is just in the front pattern or both? why is it important to make that angle? i didnt get it.
@@Cestyoo it’s for both. It’s not compulsory to add that part but adding it takes out the sharp triangle edge which makes it easier when sewing the hem.

Can you give the exact measurements for life size
Hi, thanks for watching 😊.. In this video I have given you all the steps you need to create the skirt in a full scale block you just need to apply the steps and experiment with your own measurements. That’s how we gain confidence in drafting patterns. I hope this helps.

@@DIYsbyDivv hi Divv so I think a viscose & linen mix fabric will be perfect, even a light weight denim will work as well. Whatever fabric you choose I hope your final project turns out perfect 🤩

Did u use the original neckline or you came down by 1cm after the test fit. By the way you look amazing.
Thanks! So in the video I reduced the neckline but for my final dress I didn’t alter the neckline at all, I used the original depth.
