Motor Oil Vs Motorcycle Oil. Why You NEED to us ONLY Motorcycle Oil?
Переглядів 59Рік тому
By NOT using motorcycle oil in your Engine, you are causing premature ware on your clutch, Transmission and Engine. Automobile oil will break down fast in motorcycle engine because it runs hotter than cars, faster RPM reach, Transmission goes through high stress points and causing the clutch to ware and brake down faster.

I downshift too. I'd rather be ready to accelerate safely out of trouble at any time. As you said, "No abruptness" is key. We can stop much faster than most car drivers and many times they aren't paying attention. If we stop at consistent and gradual speed, it forces the cars to match our speed. Obviously, if something jumps out, emergency stops are required. Just try to avoid abrupt braking when possible

Some bikes will have a drain bolt at the bottom of the forks making it incredibly easy to change the oil. Just drain, put a little bit of fresh oil in and pump the shocks to flush everything, drain again, and top up. For bikes without the drain bolt, I use a tube and huge plastic "syringe" to pull out as much oil as possible, same procedure with a little fresh oil and pumping shocks etc. For me this aligns with every 2 years roughly, saves me having to rebuild the forks that much more often.

If fork oil is meant to be changed so often then manufactures should make this an easier process. It's hard to self service without a headset stand and some decent skills to pull apart the forks etc. I asked about changing the oil on my 2015 Honda vfr800 and was told it was 'life time' and didn't need changing which totally confused me? It's getting changed next service only because I said I wanted it done (60,000 km).

How you like the seat after 1 year off use ?

    • @marcogmotorcycletipstrips5822

jrgrajales73, I still enjoy the Saddlemen Seat. I still recommend it because it's comfortable even after a long ride. the seats molds to you the longer you ride because of the gel is under the pad of the seat. Also, the back of the seat holds you in place keeping you anchored, so it doesn't let you slide back in the seat and causing you to hang on the handlebars. My Suzuki original seat was comfortable, but I slid back slightly in curbs and at accelerating, I don't have that problem with the Saddlemen. So, answering you question. I enjoy it even after a year. Thanks for asking. Drive SAFE. Marco G

Lovely bike you have there. I have the Vsysto S2 on my NT 1100 . I have made 2 camera housings with Perspex lenses to protect the glass camera lenses which are prone to being hit by stones and other debris. The lenses stay pefectly clean I just wipe the perspex now and then. Very well described, and an essential addition to any motorbike. Sub and like duly added. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
