I bought the UK VHS when it came out and played it until it wore out and snapped - this isn't the version that was on that tape. Looks like it's from the same tour, but not the same. There was a version of the original tape shown on TV a while back, but to get it to fit a run-time some ...'person'..decided it'd be a good idea to trim out part of the main solo^^

Pink Floyd around the 1987-1989 era seem to be the most powerful musical rocks bands of all time. The delicate sounds of thunder live video in from Ney York in 1988 is simply amazing. Makes me shake my head with disbelief every time, how good it is. I am so grateful they live on through these priceless and timeless recordings. I was 14 yeas old in 1988 and loved it and I reckon I'll still be loving it when I'm 80!

Any time I hear this I remember carefree, naive nights while feeling really, really good and making love to my gorgeous young fiancé in college so many years ago. It felt like heaven on earth then…. I don’t even have the words to describe how utterly beautiful and perfect that experience actually was as I reflect on it. I’m eternally grateful to be transported back to a better time by hearing what I consider to be the perfect song. I’d live that memory while listening to this song forever if such a thing were possible!

A little jazzy, scott page in fire, Dave as usual at is best, the girls full in it, Rachel Fury is so cute( it's a bonus), a little bit faster than the studio version, in short, The best version!

I prefer the Delicate Sound of Thunder concert over Pulse because Gilmour did most of audio production. Something he said he wouldn't do again.

Cutting the climax of the 2nd solo in half may be ‘clever editing’, but to me it shows a stunning lack of respect towards the musical momentum of legend Dave Gilmour. Shame on you!

Wow, beyond Pink Floyd ( we know how good they are) here there are two high points, the sax player uses the dynamic as nobody. He is melodiyc like nobody.And miss Rachel, Oh my God, that woman so well made.
