What's the best way of measuring the axel
We just measure both sides and make them the same
Nice! Will love to race you at clay pigeon for the first race of the season! ( if you are going to it)

hello, great video. will you be entering the gx160 unrestricted or the gx200 restricted next year?
Gx200 restricted
That's a nice 2011/2012 EVRR chassis 👌🏼 It's better in my experience than even the much sought-after 2017/2018 chassis.
thanks
That is a nice outfit man
thanks

Are you
Nice job bro 😊
Thanks 😄
Nice helmet bro
@@EssaAHMAD-zq4vk thanks
What axle did you buy ?
Pre-inboarded Gearbox kart axle
@@AJKarting is there a length ? Because I’m doing GXUK senior next year
@@JackLangfordRacing i’m not sure
Great video AJ look forward to seeing how you get on next season!
Thanks
Did you cut through the rear sprocket so you can take it off easily to change gearing? Couldn’t see it in the video but maybe just wasn’t visible. Some cut through the sprocket protectors too.
no but we'll probably take off the axle to put the channel on
@@AJKarting Guessing chain auto corrected to channel! Worth getting a chain splitting tool from DK but avoid buying the cheap GMAX chains as they are wider than other brands and don’t sit in the splitter. CZ chains are ok - and better quality in my experience. Good luck with the build.
Another great video - and thanks for capturing two of my overtakes from some great angles! Talk to me about the best way to fit sprockets and protectors / chains. I’ve got some advice that will save you a huge amount of headaches and issues (and time). I haven’t had a chain fall off or break, ever. Not even once. So I’m confident my technique is good with that side of things. Keep making your great content!
@@BradPhilpot sounds like a perfect short video 👍

Thanks 👍
Great job on the kart and video, keep them coming
Awesome job guys!
Thanks so much!
The kart is coming together really well! I’m looking forward to the next video Aiden 👏
Great video quality and overall a good video for such a young boy, i look forward to watching the full series of this full thing come together.
Glad you enjoyed it
You two make a great team! Subscribed and excited to follow along!
Awesome! Thank you!
This is fantastic! You’re a natural narrator. Your kart looks like a fantastic example - clean and tidy, a real peach! Good luck in the upcoming season, and please get in touch if you need any OTK advice. I’ve subscribed.
Thanks! We’re coming to watch at Ellough Park so will come and say hi 👍🏼
@@AJKarting oh awesome. I hope it’s dry!

Looks like you’re a natural on the spanners, good luck with the racing, GXUK is a friendly place to race. Top tip - go give your dad a big man hug, he’s already a legend for supporting you to go karting.
Hi aiden🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 🎉🎉🎉
Hi Aiden, great job so far, I look forward to seeing the progress. Two tips for you. If you don’t have a heat gun you can just use a hair drier. And if you don’t have the tool for the rear bumper mounts you can use Circlip pliers if you have those. Good luck with the rest of the build and i look forward to seeing you in the paddock.
@@AlexVangeenRacing thanks
An easy way to get the bumper rubbers out is to poke a small, flat screwdriver up the chassis rails between the rubber and the inside of the tube and squirt a bit of wd40 into the gap. Then wind a couple of nuts onto the end of the bolt, put a big adjustable spanner over the thread so it's against the nuts, then knock the bolt and rubber out with a rubber hammer. No special tools required. If that makes sense...😁 Good luck with your build!
Thanks, I’ll try that
I run two GX-UK juniors and one of our karts is a FA OTK. Good luck with the build.
thanks
