@ I’m sorry that you feel yourself to be inferior to men. There are devout women in the Bible who were prophets, deacons, and other leaders. Jesus said there is no male/female, slave/free in Christ. A woman is an equal partner on a marriage, not a child. I feel sorry for women who have been brainwashed into believe their role is very narrow and focused on obeying men. Surely you knew that if you were going to post such material that some people would disagree with your position?

God. God is your protection. In this life, people are going to do what people are going to do but God promises to protect you against the flaming arrows and the terror of the night for those who declare that Jesus is Lord and accept Him as the only Salvation for their soul. Give this situation up to Jesus. Ask Him to save you and to help you reconcile with your spouse if that's God's will. If not, then trust and know that God has someone or something better planned for you that will love you according to God's riches and glory. Life can be painful but God has the ultimate say. ❤️🫂

I love this for the reason that you both support each other. I think one of the misconceptions about following a biblical marriage is that the woman is just a servant and the man is just the receiver. But in a biblical marriage both the wife and the husband submit to one another and serve each other as they would serve the Lord. This requires humility, patience, strength, compassion, and effort on both sides. I think you hit the nail on the head perfectly in that some men want a servant and not a wife or a partner in life. However many men want a wife who has the same mindset that serving caring and nurturing the home is okay and should be prioritized just as they would prioritize it too. We are called to first serve God through our life and who we are and how we take care of our family and others. I plan to speak more about this in the future but having a wife that will submit to you is the result of trust and respect that has been built over consistent events and over time. However I do want to emphasize that as a Christian believer it is our faith journey to follow the Bible and obey it. This is what it says in the word but I do believe that in this day and age because many of us are so traumatized and no people that have gone through horrendous things not only from that but like what is on the media, that it really is a faith journey to get to the point where you can fully submit to your spouse. It took a lot of self work, patience, working through the heartache to get to the point my husband and I are in our marriage. We are by no means perfect but we have seen how following God's way is the best way even when it's hard.

@@jonathanshaw7355 If a man is responsible and has a good head on his shoulders and has a good history of being wise financially, then I see no problem with that. My husband has the final say on all our financial decisions and we seem to be doing pretty well. Now, if the man has a history of being irresponsible or selfish with money (meaning he takes all the family money for his wants and neglects his own family's needs like in the case of a person who may use all the money for a drinking, gambling, or drug addiction, then they should absolutely not have sole responsibility over the money. A person like that is not in the mind of Christ and a wife doesn't have to submit to that leadership but she does have to unfortunately step up and address it as best she can and she has to pray for his deliverance and set her boundaries firmly. If no problems like that exist in the household, then I see no problem with that as long as the woman agrees to that. If she doesn't and want to be a part of those conversations she should and can but ultimately it is the husband's God guided leadership they should follow. I hope that answers your question. 🙏

I also want to make it clear that I'm not a Pastor. This is just my personal opinion. I would strongly encourage you to seek the advice of a licensed Pastor who would be better versed than me in what the Bible says. I'm still learning myself.

No problem. ☺️ In my particular personal case, I have no problem with this. It's nice to sit back and know that everything is being taken care of by my husband.

I would be disappointed if I was your daughter. There's nothing wrong with embracing your God given differences and respecting those of your spouse. We are all given talents in some areas and the areas we are not so talented or have a deficit in, it's okay to not be great at everything. I think compassion, love, kindness, and empathy is important to staying true to your innate gifts and talents and the fullest expression of them in building a freeing life.
