Available for exclusive booking only, for a maximum of 2 anglers, Lake 2 at Etang Negreloube is a private 1.5 acre lake with carp to over 50lb. The accommodation is a large Bell tent, complete with a double bed and two single beds, as well as a small log burner ensuring a warm and comfortable stay during the colder months.

It was a Phantom 4 with the standard camera that comes attached to the drone.

This looks like great fun, your little man looks like he's having the time of his life. I'm going back to Cyprus very soon and will hire a buggy, what are your thoughts on a longer drive say to larnaca from ayia napa, I know they don't recommend it but I found a route using no motorway, there's no way they'd know is there?
They are noisy but reasonably comfortable. We used to do the Ayia Napa to Larnaca trip regularly on old 50cc mopeds along the coast road, back in the days before the motorways was built and we managed that okay, so it shouldn’t be too bad in a buggy - and will be fun.
If you're going to rent something from Ayia Napa - use Rainbow Hire. Speak to Marios or George and tell them I recommended them to you. I've been using them since 1987, they're great people and will offer you a 'very special price'.

Fished this back in 86 , It was then controlled by Fourways fisheries , Absolute great memories from this place , what a summer that was , as a 16 year old at the time the Carp looked huge , I seem to remember every Carp bar 1 was over 20lbs , there was 1 30lb fish that I think was moved to Snowberry lake . Funny you should mention Rambo , was this a small man with dark hair that allways wore Camo gear .? If so pretty sure we gave him that nickname. Funnily enough remember him using fixed leads with short rigs and casting into the middle where all the silt was .! My first UK syndicate , magical place , this is mentioned in Carp Fever as maddocks fished the place.
Wonderful little lake, remember fishing it as a boy! having lived in the village above, remember it having large golden orfe, back in the early seventies, also starred in a film "night must fall" back in 1964.... Was on the syndicate 2005! would like to return one day, fish it again, as I know its well looked after by caring management and syndicate team! , and a quiet tranquil lake to fish.
Pity you don't have two pairs of hands! Less focking around with the remote handset and get the fish in the net maybe?
I understand your comment, however I was playing the fish for 2 minutes and 38 seconds. Whilst I appreciate that I possibly could have landed it sooner, as you can see, right up until I landed it the fish still had some fight in it. The rod has a 1 1/2 test curve and I was using 2.5lb line with a size 8 barbless hook. Better to play a fish carefully rather than to beef it in and cause damage to the mouth, or have the line snap leaving the hook in it's mouth. Landing a lively fish can also cause damage and I've seen carp lose scales in the landing net as they trash about. These fish were introduced into my pond as eggs and despite having regularly caught them over the past 4 years, they and their mouths are totally undamaged.
