For me, the problem was from the start, but not so much to do with your ability, or lack there of, to draw the abstract lines/patterns on the nails. The problem was because you started off with your nails not having the “glass nail effect”. If you would have started with cutting your natural nails off and applying Gel X clear full cover nails, the end results would have been so much better! I think the look started off wrong and just got worse. I get not wanting to chop off your beautiful natural nails, but when you choose a design like this one and don’t start with “glass like nails”, you’re doomed for failure. I think this design is stunning and would love for you to give it another try when you no longer have such long natural nails, or are willing to cut them off. 😏

Try a floss pick with the taut section of floss which makes creating the lines really easy. Agree on the background. The nails turned out cute❤

Jello Jello definitely works best on natural nails. It does last a lot longer directly on natural nails rather than on a base (contrary to manufacturer's instructions). The One Kill needs time to work, so dont rush the renoval process. Let the liquid work its magic and there should be pretty much no effort. And the orange stick is gentler on the natural nails, too. 7:01 that does look like pterygium... 😬

Have u tried Vetsy solid gel polish?

I personally don't like using peel off base coat gel. I prefer on my natural nails a light coating of builder gel then use water-based peel base like Unt. I'll proceed with my gel manicure thereafter. There is a chance that it will chip within a week's time. This is fine with me since I like to do a 🎉manicure design at least once a week.

I love Aurora nails! This true Aurora look and not that airbrush going around. I really wish I could get the big pieces/ shapes to work. I wish those cut outs were stickers like they say. I’m not sure why no one has actually made them stickers. Maybe 1 day but this technique worked nicely!

Geesh I think you may have gotten a bad pot of the dgel paint! I’ve never seen it look like that. I have tons of dgel pots and it’s my favorite art get. But I haven’t tried MG art gels yet…I may need to! I have the MPA palette, nails by dev liners and some others but I don’t like how clumpy they are- it’s hard to explain but they aren’t smooth when they drag- but I like the dgel ones a lot. ❤

I love the Jello Jello base ...for remover I also use the Makarrt glue remover with it instead of the one kill if I run out. I find it works faster and better!

I sooo LOVE the Jello Jello system!!! I only wish the younger kiddos, would learn how the product works & understands that most tutorial videos are sped up and that you can’t pry off their enhancements in only 4 seconds 😮 Please wait the 15-20 minutes. Also you don’t need to use half the bottle on each nail. It’s sad how destroyed their natural nails are 😞

The glove trick is great! You can still do things & the warmth makes the soak go faster. I❤this! Nice job! The Ohora remover for gel straps works & the Full Beauty AD-1 debonder works as well. The Ohora comes in a big bottles you have a bunch of uses for removing.

I liked the Charme boxes when they first came out. Lately I don't think they are worth the money. Other than the gel polish, the other stuff looks like you could get it from Shein or Temu if you look hard enough. What is your opinion?

I think the magnetic powder might work better with a less viscous base coat- the particles might be able to move easier- this base coat is pretty thiccc
