Im obsessed with this series. Recently started both of them and it's damn near ruined every other MetroidVania for me.

For me is YES, best metroidvania of all the time, why?? It's epic story, music, pixel art, gameplay, original universe, exploration, collectibles.

games got a lot of work before you can say its "one of the greatest FPS games". lemme start off with - pull a clip on a nade and you die, the nade doesnt drop. maps are auto selected and you only get kyoto, idk any other fps game that doesnt have vote for maps, really stupid if u ask me. guns and util bug out where you cant use them for half a round if not a whole round. and the fact that they did introduce 5v5s as your main rank is a big killer for most people. its shit😂 - forgot to mention.. someone on your team disconnects if you solo queue, your just fucked.. you lose the same if not more elo for losing the game & you dont even get a replacement player to play with you. xdefiants the best for this and yet the finals have had this issue since launch

only 2 runs are required. just keep an eye on the missables for first playthrough and you'll be fine. speedrun and balcony jumper can be done together too easily. if you want ending c and the other dlc stuff you'll havebto do another run but it's not required for the 100%. I've noticed playstation community trophy guides are really reliable with good non spoiler information and standardized format.

World Tour is basically ranked cashout? WAT lol. It's basically ranked, theres just no MMR system, you can't lose points on your "badge" and the only metric for the leaderboard is how much money you cash out. So in theory you could get rank 1 and never even win a tournament as long as you get cash out in round 1 and 2 lol.

It's a a bit annoying that it still registers them as another input even if you hold L1. Not sure why that is and I hope it gets fixed eventually if possible.

I absolutely love b1, but feels like devs took kinda wrong direction on wounds of eventide dlc and b2. Notice how cutscenes from base game differ from the secret ending of wounds of eventide - this type of graphics we got in b2, and it.. Well it kinda sucks - grim dark 16 bit style gone, but we got some simplistic anime

As a Ps4 Player, DYL2 was the most miserable game i have played....

So here we are 2024 and the game still pisses me off. Just freezes after a hour or two of game play. I’m trying to figure out what techland was even thinking. Like everything looks so unrealistic compared to the first DL1. Even the game play and controls suck, like thanks for killing a great game and making a junk game. Hopefully they’ll fix the bugs and freezing problem. I’m tired of watching the stupid beginning intro without skipping it. That’s all I gotta say about this junk game. Awesome background music keep up the great stuff.

Guys, Blasphemous isn't a Metroidvania. It has a great art style, excellent bosses, and other positive aspects, except for the combat. The combat in Blasphemous isn't fair and is a bit broken. Moreover, it isn't a Metroidvania game, it lacks good progression. The penitent remains slow even in the endgame. Blasphemous also lacks other important elements, such as the exploration of the world. The only thing you can explore is tons of useless 'lore items.' The game is still good and fun. For an indie studio, it's very nice. Blasphemous 2 is way better, it has improved combat, more interesting mechanics, better exploration, and the game is also more fair.

2024 and the game still works bad in ps4 not like at the beggining but still having annoying problems. Just begging techland to fix it.
