Hi Carly. Just a soft microfiber to knock off dust. If it needs to be cleaned, I recommend interior detailer spray with a microfiber towel. I recommend interior detail spray that has protectants built in so that it prevents fading and UV damage.

At the time I was using only a degreasing soap but now I recommend using the degreasing soap (super clean) diluted and then following up with an upholstery shampoo so that it doesn’t harm the fabric.

Oh I definitely tried the lily brush, but it was not effective on this type of carpet.

Yes it’s a 10:1 diluted Super Clean in the Tornador canister and the carpet extractor has Technicians Choice upholstery shampoo.

Purple power is a little bit more concentrated with potassium hydroxide (more powerful than sodium hydroxide) so I would do between 5:1 to 10:1 leaning on 10:1 for most light stains and plastic on doors. Super clean will leave a nicer fragrance I’ve found but is less effective (broader range of uses). Currently tweaking my process but I would do a shampoo and agitation with purple power, then heated extraction with a dedicated upholstery shampoo concentrate, then finish with Meg’s shampoo and upholstery foam with a steamer.

Still have it but switched over to the shop vac for better suction, thinking about getting the mytee extractor but the suction rating is still higher on the craftsman 🤔

@@claritycarwashing5747 the “end results” of your work looked good.. however using an APC for the cleaning, it must be rinsed out of the fabrics. You need a dry cleaning foaming chemical the can simply be dry vacuumed out. Exoforma makes one and there are several others
