There's no solution to the issue by just adding an additive. Either the hydraulic lifter needs replacing because it is faulty and losing oil, or if the engine is shimmed or adjustable it needs correction. Sometimes you get lucky and it is just an engine deposit that can be flushed out. Often using a thicker or thinner oil might make it better. Same with oil tacky additives to reduce noise.

Brilliant ! I alternator died last night and I got quoted $450 to replace, so I found one in my local car parts store for $180 and will fit it myself tomorrow. This is an easy looking job, no excuse paying a garage to replace this.

You’ll want to wipe off those dipsticks with a rag as well to properly check them

You know you can check the coolant overflow and there’s no need to check the radiator of the overflow is good, also the brake fluid doesn’t need to be max there just has to be some in there between the lines. Power steering and brake fluid are clear reservoirs so you can check it without pulling the cap off. Use a flashlight and shine through it if it’s hard to see. In some cases you should avoid pulling off the caps on your radiator and brake fluid reservoir cause it’s a pressurized system.

Is this a coupe siii/tiburon? i recognise some of those parts as i work on my own a lot

Make sure to check the coolant when the car is all warmed up !

One thing ladies if your brake oil is down your brake pads maybe worn out and this will drop your oil level in the reservoir so check pads before filling
