I make this, but I put a layer of pudding/custard between the angel food cake & the fruit. I see no problem w/using 'storebrought' cake, instant pudding & whipped topping--especially when you're in a hurry. The results are terrific & sometimes you can use the lid from the angel food cake for a trifle bowl. It's great for a potluck, you don't have to worry about your bowl.

Traditional Trifle also has Custard in the mix and Jelly.

I made myself some shoes for Pride 2019 🏳️‍🌈 and I add sparkly glitter over it once It was dry they turned out so cool and I also sprayed them with tent protector . I also wear them in other occasions too😊
